Love the food here, every item on the menu is full of flavor, salads are so fresh with juicy ingredients! No matter how many... times we go there it is consistent. Its just that the hookah house smoke blocks us to go with the kids. But even then we cantstop going here due to amazing food. Read more

Ordered from here on UberEats as it was one of the listed "vegetarian options." The menu was plentiful with both vegetarian and... meat-based options, from sampling platters to wraps and more! I would recommend the sampling platters if youre looking to trysomething new. Great portions and fair prices. Read more

We were looking for something delicious that was open late at night after a long day of work and would have settled for... something simple but we're very pleasantly surprised to find such a happening and delicious restaurant! They do have a very goodreputation for great food and a good time and the place was near capacity at 11:00 p.m. on a Friday night. We ordered a 1 kgmixed grill for our party of four and it was literally the perfect amount of food! All the meats especially the kafta were juicyand flavorful and the dips especially the eggplant were satisfyingly delicious. The pita was another one of the highlightscoming from the kitchen hot and fluffy was the perfect accompaniment to the mixed grill and dips. We had a great time and forsure we will be back! Read more

Before you even enter Chic Pea, you can smell the wood oven they use to make their pita fresh made to order. This was my first... visit so I went with the Chic Pea Trio of dips: hummus, mutabal and baba ganouj. Beautifully plated and each dip was fantasticand a great deal at only $15. I wanted to make sure I tried something from the grill as well so they very kindly provided me asmall side of chicken Shwarma, even though it's not on the menu. The Shwarma was crispy and delicious and beautifully spiced. Iappreciated a salt grinder at the table as I like a lots of salt but also appreciate that they have a gentle touch withseasoning in the kitchen. I recommend the Hummus and Shwarma at $12 if you like dip and Shwarma. The pita is divine. Thesmoking smell of the wood oven, the warmth and softeners of the bread is a thing if beauty. The pita doesn't have a touch ofcinnamon like Cafe Arabesque - I found I didn't miss it and I know some would prefer plain pita to give focus the rest of themeal. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. Looking forward to discovering the rest of the menu. Read more

Not bad but not great. I went into this place because I saw “authentic Syrian shawarma” written on the outside.. maybe I’m... wrong, but it tastes nothing like authentic Middle Eastern (Lebanese or Syrian) shawarma. The spices they use remind me more ofIndian food, similar to what you’d eat at Osmows or Lazeez. Read more

This is a hidden gem in Waterloo. The food was incredibly good and tasty and was served in well presented dishes by very... friendly staff. The portions was also surprisingly large! We had Turkish meat pizza and grilled chicken both had a unique taste. Read more

Wow this place is unreal. Excellent food, very fresh, all homemade, and amazing service. Great recommendations and explanations... of which foods go together. Today was my first time here and I’ll be back. I always find a favorite middle eastern joint inevery city I’ve lived in, and of all 5 cities, this is my absolute fave. Felafels are really well spiced and cooked - notover cooked, too dry, too crumbly, or too crunchy like most places seem to make (butcher) them. Rice is amazing. Such adelicious spice blend and very moist. Honestly just everything is top notch. I love that they take the extra steps to garnishand add sumac. This is my new favorite restaurant in KW! Thank you guys and see you again soon!! Read more

I stumbled upon this restaurant the moment I came to Waterloo. It is quite unique with respect to the surrounding restaurants.... In my two visits I have so far tried the Charcoal chicken & Chicken Shawarma Box. Charcoal chicken is their signature dish! ittakes some time(but it's worth the wait). I love the taste of the chicken marinated, full of flavour mixed with the aroma fromthe charcoal. It comes with a side of rice/fries & hummus. Chicken Shawarma box is almost your usual chicken on rice but theirsignature sauce changes the whole game! The friendly staff said they bake bread in house. I will need to come back to try theirbread and Turkish pizza! Read more
