I arrived to a fairly empty restaurant at 425 pm. I waited to be seated and told to pick my own seat after declined the bar. The... staff are monotone and no smiles. My order arrived quickly rather quicker than a full rack of ribs should. I have not seen aserver since getting my food not asking about food quality or any needs. I guess I was expecting the same food and service asthe Goderich location. I don't recommend this location. Read more
The service was extremely slow, we had to track down our waitress in order to get anything done. Our drinks were never refilled... so we spent half the time there with empty cups, no check ups, the only time we ever saw our waitress was when she took ourorder and came for the bill, even then it was already half an hour after we stepped in and half an hour after we finished ourmeal. The food itself was okay, nothing special about it. The only bright side about our visit was the cheerful hostess whichhelped us more then anyone else there. If you are planning to go to a Chucks Restaurant, I suggest that you go to the one inKitchener by fairview park mall as they have better service, better food and a better environment. Read more
Visited this restaurant yesterday party of 6. As we were seated we all noticed the table was very sticky. We ordered nachos for... an appetizer and we were all disappointed by the size of serving. When our steak and lobster arrived I noticed the corn was darkgrey and tasted off. Then my first bite of lobster tail tasted strange. Everyone at the table immediately spit it out. Saladwasn’t great either. Steak was good! My brother in law ordered quarter chicken with fries. He honestly receive a chickenwing!!! as the server placed the plate down he apologized and said he told the chef that this was for a gentleman not achild. The chicken "wing" was solid dry!! The server said they get them frozen and the place it isn’t he microwave to thaw itquickly so they can serve it. WE WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! Read more
Will not be coming back here. Disappointed by several things: 1. Condiment containers were dirty 2. Food serving size were very... small 3. Beer contained lemon seed - suggests glass was not cleaned properly 4. There seems to be a shortage of jalapenos - aplate of nachos contained only three 5. Service was not great 6. Dude on the table next to us refused to play for his meal as itcontained someone's hair 7. The hamburgers were delicious and reasonably priced. After 9:00 pm they have half off appetizers! Loved it! Dessert was... surprisingly good! Read more
I was pretty disappointed with the quality and portion size considering the price. I got the spinach dip, fish and chips, and... potato skins. Paid $15 for 4 potato skins... The food was mediocre. There are plenty of better restaurants with the same stuff. Read more
Absolutely NOT what I or my friend were expecting. We came here for dinner around 7:00. The place wasn't too busy but wasn't... dead either. We were seated on the patio in the corner table. We requested the bar menus because we wanted to get a drink beforedinner. We were taking some pictures so we had time stamps. After about 25 minutes of waiting are waitress brought the bar menuover. By that time we have had plenty of time to look at our menus and decide what we wanted to eat. She came over and droppedthe bar menu and ran away before we could even ask her if we could order food. No joke 35 minutes later I actually called usingtheir phone number on their website and ask them if we could order food. We ordered fish and chips matzah sticks nachos and Iordered a 20 oz porterhouse (T Bone) rare. Are beer came out relatively quick compared to waiting for the menus and ordering,still a little slow if you ask me. She brought our my steak and went back and get my friend's food and in the meantime I cutinto it, unfortunately the steak was medium to medium-well done. I'm not really picky but when the waitress came back and sawthat the cook on the steak was wrong she didn't even question it she took the plate and got the kitchen to make a new one. I wasabsolutely shocked when a little man in a black dress shirt and pants came up to me and tried to explain to me that my steak wasactually rare and not medium well to well done. He brought a pamphlet to show me the differences, and I showed him the picturethat I took of the steak which is attached to this, I asked him if it was pink enough to be rare. And excuse after excuse afterexcuse he basically told me that I was wrong. Since I have cooked hundreds of steaks in different restaurants. I legitimatelyhad to explain to him how to cook the steak. We were there for the first time. Server was young and new to the business. Not much training, we have to ask for plates and... tools after our apetiser was served. I had ribs and chicken, I expect the ribs to fall of the bones easy, was not the case. Myhusband ordered Montreal smoke meat sandwich and asked not to toast the bread. There was 5 thin slices of meat at best and theywere dry. He didn't wants to make a fuss and say nothing. He left part of the first half and didn't touch the second half. Thebread was so hard, looks like they warm the bread in microwave. When we told the young server he said we were right and will akshis supervisor to credit the meal. Came back and sais his supervisor declined because my husband eat the first part of thesanswich. And they have the nerve to add Honest to goodness fee ??? That is a joke. Read more
