Bright and cheery atmosphere, clean and comfortable. We celebrated a birthday with our teen and could not find a single thing to... complain about with the food. The service was a bit slow BUT it was crazy filled with happy customers. We enjoyed seaweedsalad, beef dumplings, spring rolls, a 40 pc Love Boat with sushi, rolls and sashimi. The crowning glory was a salmon andavocado cocktail with amazing sesame oil drizzle. A bit pricey with $258 after a generous tip. Read more

Have been here many, many times!!! A go-to spot living in Waterloo (if you?re willing to splurge a lil;)) My favourite is... definitely the Ken House Roll (you Do in fact need a big mouth to eat these). It?s a little bit on the pricier side, but forsure worth it in my opinion. It tastes so good; everything is so fresh and the flavours all blend together very well. Thedragon trio is another great choice for sharing for 2 people and a little cheaper than getting 2 ken house rolls with morevariety (but, I personally still enjoy getting the ken house roll more especially if you?re a little more hungry). Service isalways good, sometimes takes a little longer, but never not a good time. The presentation of each dish is also very aesthetic,and they mix it up sometimes with the same dish too. This is my favourite restaurant in Waterloo. The service is always nice, the price is fair, and the food is always extremely... delicious. It is my go-to spot to hang out with my friends. Note that it can get quite busy during dinner rushes, especially onweekends, so make sure to avoid the rush hours if you want to be seated quickly. Very delicious. Everything was very fresh and well prepared. Presentation was on point aswell as flavor profile. This place is... good enough to rival with the rest of them. I can't give it full stars because was not the best Iv ever had and the tableservice was slow. There is a buzzer for service right on the table, so no waiting for the server to notice you need something(in theory) atleast. The staff was polite and courteous. Price point was not bad, two of us ate our fill for under 70$ all in,including a generous tip. This place is definitely worth checking out if you're cracing sushi and in the area. Read more

Good sushi and service. The sushi tasted fresh and the service was great. The ambiance is open and the mural wall was a nice... touch. The seats are quite private as well. Went back for dine in to Ken after a long time. They have stayed consistent with their quality since pre pandemic times. I... ordered their Rocky Rocky Roll and the Avokappa Roll and both tasted good. The restaurant was super busy with all tables filledto the max. Since it was super busy, all the servers were occupied so it took us a while to just place an order. Other than thewait time, their service was good. While their prices are relatively higher than other sushi joints in the area, Ken isdefinitely the place to come for quality sushi. Read more

We ordered some sushi rolls and sashimi for my birthday, and as seen in the attachment, the food was awesome! Fish was fresh,... the cuts and pieces were very generous in size, and there was sufficient sauce on the roles as well (with a great kick). Thiswas my first time trying Ken's takeout, and they did not disappoint! Prices were fair, given the quality of food, but it candefinitely add up depending on the number of rolls/food you order. Had a great time at Ken Sushi house. They were very busy today but ensured to serve great food. Will make sure to come back... again on a regular day to try the other food items. We had the calamari, seaweed salad and love boat pictured below. Spentabout $83 plus tip but felt that it was really worth it. Calamari was very soft and fresh unlike the others we have tried whichare rubbery. Seaweed salad is nice. And the love boat was really filling. All of the items are freshly prepared. Servers arenice and accommodating especially the nice tall girl whose wearing a white face mask today. We forgot to get the name since theywere so busy.
