I have been eating Lazeez on the rocks from this store for last 3 years and never had an issue with the quality and quantity.... Now they have hired new staffs and they cheat by not giving adequate quantity of chicken and rice in the order. When asked toadd more as it doesn?t justify with the price they have increased, they arrogantly say this is the correct amount. New joineeswho have been working here for just few months are now telling the same old customers what they used to offer. I have alwaysrecommended my friends to visit here and they have been regular since. Not anymore. Possibly the greatest and most consistent restaurant in the university plaza. A hallmark of every undergraduate's time in this... city. I only get lazeez on the rocks. The only reason anyone wouldn't like it is if he's weak of either body or mind. Read more
I have had Chicken on Rocks a few times. Always decent and filling. This time was drowned in sauce. That?s just normal... sauce! Can?t imagine what the ?extra? sauce would be like??! I don?t know if this location has switched owners or management?!But it?s definitely changed since I got it last in May! Read more
Order for mild Shawarma but got very spicy. Staff WAS SO RUDE and they started arguing infront of others. Will never come back.... Never had such a worse experience. Unfortunately Google doesn't have negative reviews to be added which these people deserve. Read more
Been here a few times throughout university and it?s been consistent in it?s heart attack/drunk food reputation. Great salad... portion. Chicken is definitely in a pool of sauce to mask its flavour. I am actually a regular customer at Lazeez and I couldn't even expect why did they do like this. I have ordered chicken poutine... for take-away and I have received without the topping white sauce and the "lines of hot" also missing. I ate without any tasteand it was horrible to expect. Can I give 0 star? Please ???? atleast do something on your chicken taste quality. What kind of spices you guys used in chicken... shawarma? That's really not tasted as chicken shawarma, instead all the taste I got salty black pepper chicken with lots offats, tasteless really!!. Please change your recipe or spices of chicken. The only charm of this shop is its open till latenight. Its not my first time here, I wanted to give them a chance after fee months or year that if they really care aboutcustomer review, but nah.. i was wrong. Second suggestion, don't shred shawarma chicken that it turned into minced chicken.Please have some respect in the name of "shawarma" otherwise people stop trusting this flavorful middle eastern fast food.
