Pretty good! I got the dolsot bibimbap with beef while my friend got the kamjatang. For my bibimbap, the rice in the stone bowl... was a little bit dry and potentially stale, but all of the other ingredients seemed fresh. The side dishes were great too! Wegot another round of the braised potato side dishes (gamja jorim) that are to die for. My friend?s kamjatang was a little hardto eat as there are quite a few bones with not much meat, so keep that in mind if you order it! Read more
A few days ago I was craving some Korean food, because I had just finished my exams. I decided to treat myself by going to The... Famous OWL of Minerva! The food here is amazing and definitely a must-go if you?re ever in the mood for some authentic Koreanfood. I ended up ordering some Kimchi Fried Rice - stir fried kimchi with rice, assorted veggies topped off with a perfectsunny-side-up egg ~ and DalkChulPan - spicy stir-fried chicken severed on a sizzling hot plate. The ambience of the restaurantitself was quite homely making the food even more enjoyable! All in all this is one of my go-to comfort food restaurants. Checkit out! Authentic Korean cuisine served hot and fresh! An absolutely fantastic experience. I had the Bibimbap with beef and it was... everything I wanted. Would have included a pic of the bibimbap but I could not help myself. 10/10 would recommend if you'relooking for some delicious spicy food. Will be dining again!! Read more
Ordered from Owl of Minerva Waterloo tonight. Quick, and tasty. Decent sized portions - generous but not huge, and not... expensive. The "mild" dishes were just as spicy as the "spicy" dishes, but hey, it's Korean so buyer beware! Read more

Still good as 10 years ago. I used to live in S. Korea. The taste of the foods is closed to the foods from there. The place is... clean and the server is friendly. The place is not cheap; but it's worthwhile. Read more
Food is good, but expensive and service was slow. Paying with cash for the 10% discount is probably not a good idea. I tried to... leave a nice tip, but they wouldn't make change. A server was called over and they told me I paid $40 less than I actually did(as if i didn't even tip!!). ???? Read more
