I tried the Penny’s Classic sandwich with the Hot spice level and it was scrumptious and not hot for me! It was my first time... trying Nashville hot chicken style and I enjoyed it a lot! Penny’s Hot Chicken has great burgers, chicken tenders and sides. I like that you can make them as spicy as you’d like and... it’s good value for the quantity and quality. Their classic sandwich is a good option, and if you want something a littlesweeter the Sweet Daisy is great (I’d recommend get it spicy as well to balance the sweetness). The tenders are also a goodas well as the sides. The Mac and cheese bites and waffle animal style fries are amazing. Read more

Not sure how this place has gotten so many 5 star reviews - I\'m honestly extremely easy to impress when it comes to food. I... very rarely, if ever give out poor reviews. But this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in quite awhile. I ordered on a busy friday night and me and my friend were out the door within 10 minutes, even despite a long line aheadof us, so the customer service, outside of the food quality, was great. In terms of the food itself, however, the fries firstlywere clearly way too old to be served. They had very little flavour and felt like I was biting into rocks. I wouldn\'t besurprised if this batch was made in the morning and had been left out all day. I ordered the 3 tender platter which is supposedto come with a side - I\'m not kidding when I say there was enough coleslaw for one bite. I genuinely thought maybe the personwho made my platter had forgotten to put enough of the side in the box. The chicken itself was very average and drier thanexpected. If chains like popeyes and KFC that cut corners at every chance can have juicier chicken, what does that say about thequality of this place? The spicy seasoning was extremely lightly dusted on about 1/3 of the chicken - based on the pictures onthe website I expected them to be fully coated. I ordered the hot and very hot spice, but didn\'t feel the tenders were spicy atall. The hot felt like they had dusted a tiny bit of cayenne powder on the tenders which barely had any lasting spice, and thevery hot was about what I\'d expect from a \"medium\" at any other establishment. My friend had the sandwich and claimed heenjoyed it, but with my experience tonight I definitely won\'t be coming back. Holy smokes this place is amazing. I have been hearing great things about it and decided to grab some chicken. The staff is very... friendly and helpful. I got a chicken tenders box with 4 tenders and it came with sauce, pickles and a slice of white bread. Iwent with spice level 4 and it was just perfect, hits the spot without making you see Satan. The Mac and cheese wedges are legitthe same as you’ll find in theatres, simple and comforting. Their banana pudding is really really good. Over all made a greatmeal for two hungry adults, the tenders are massive and the meat quality is superior. The prices are a bit steep but for thequantity seems ok. Read more
Pretty good meals here. The chicken sandwiches are top notch, the waffle fries are pretty good too. Haven\'t gone through a ton... of the menu but I\'ve been enjoying myself so far. A tad pricy but not as bad as some places. Will be back to try a few morething before I settle on a final opinion. Read more
Penny’s makes absolutely delicious spicy fried chicken! A lot places don’t get spiciness/hotness correct, but this place... does. I ordered very hot and it was what I expected. I will definitely go back for more. Read more
