If you?re thinking of going here- don?t! This place is ridiculously expensive (I paid just about $50 for an appetizer, tiny... entree, and two sodas), and the food is not good at all. I would?ve been happier getting fast food! The service is lacking, mywaiter did not come over once after taking our order for drinks and food all at once. I had to call him over to tell him that mymain course was practically inedible. Don?t get the chili cheese dog! You?re better off supporting literally any otherrestaurant. Read more
I came here with my boyfriend when they lifted restrictions which allowed dine-in again for the nth time and it was amazing!... There weren?t that many people We had a late lunch date and the food was so delicious. It was our first time to pickle barreland I absolutely loved that they give you a dish of pickles to start with! The drinks we had were a frozen Peach Bellini andchocolate milkshake (it was HUGE!). For food we ordered BBQ wings, P.B. Paella and my bf had the Ruben sandwich with fries. The Pickle Barrel is Amazing .I went there today with my mum for a meal. We loved the ambiance. The music took us back to past... winter holidays in my home country. Their Ginger Hoisin Chicken Bites and Beef Chuck Meatloaf with Veggies was Amazing. All theflavours were well married. Our Server was wonderful and took great care of us. They took a lot of care to make us feel at home.They even added a mint leaf to our ice cream sundae to give it that minty zing. Overall we loved the place. Highly recommend !!! Read more
My friend's daughter had her birthday dinner here and to be honest this was a big mistake. Our nachos was dry whoever prepared... it must have just sprinkled a pinch of cheese on the whole tray lol,our food came and it was just disappointing, our orders gotmixed up,the mashed potato was so dry, had clumps and didn't look appealing or taste nice either.My friend said her salmon andrice wasn't bad and my monster shake was also good. I saw Wyatt again tonight at pickle barrel the service was moving slow but he was amazing,consistent sharp to detail. 4.5 Stars rounded up to 5. COVID vaccine check was a breeze, staff was friendly and welcoming. I like the layout of the... restaurants, lots of screens but not distracting. Service is quick, staff were helpful concerning my gluten intolerance (glutenfree buns are available). The brisket was a bit bland for my taste but the sweet potato fries were delicious. Had the DoubleMonte, overall it was good. Was my first time there but will return. Portions and drink sizes are generous so take this inconsideration if you plan on having dessert. My wife and I split a sandwich for dinner - average price was around $18 this one came in at $23 - was not worth the extra -... beer was at $6 for a glass - pointed out the dried pickle on my sandwich - which was appreciated feedback and a complimentarydessert was brought out (thank you). Atmosphere was nice - washrooms where amazing. If this was Toronto then the prices might beacceptable but this is Waterloo and the prices are high and your restaurant was almost empty - we came for the early birdspecial but the picture was pre-covid when it was $11.99 including an appetizer - now it is $14.99 with no appetizer - moremoney less food - I think the overhead from the mall exposure is going to kill this business - won't be surprised when theyclose.
