Great comfort food and good portions!! The service is also very welcoming and friendly, they make you feel at home. I highly... recommend the ube ice cream: it is perfect for a hot summer day - or really any day - and is cheap! Read more

The food was fresh and hot upon order, flavourful with a nice crispy crunch and a gem within the Tri-Cities as there is not many... Philippino restaurants representation in the area. I chanced upon the bbq skewers and the Kamote fries, as there are manyoptions I suggest those who are new to Philippino cuisine to come and experience. Read more

Rosel's is such a hidden gem. They have excellent food at great value coupled with sincere, warm service. I love that the dining... area is next to the open kitchen so you can see and hear your food being made. I love the pineapple soda ON TAP (how cool isthat??) and that they have such unique snacks - deep fried chicken skin!! This place needs more love and support and I hope theywill be a lasting establishment for years to come. Read more

Great food and really friendly owners! Order at the front and pay, then they'll bring the food to you. Service: the person at... the front was incredibly nice and welcoming. We got our food really quick and they'll pour you the homemade pineapple sodaimmediately. Food: Really really good. The pork belly and fried chicken are really crispy, the garlic rice is amazinglysavoury, the bbq skewers have an amazing charcoal grill flavour (very much like street food in the best way), and the pineapplesoda is super refreshing. Portions are quite large as well. Plus, everything is homemade including their ice cream! Price: theonly downside to this restaurant is price. It's a bit high, with individual skewers coming in at $3.75 and dishes at ~$15+.However, given that everything is homemade, they were not unreasonable at all. Atmosphere: it feels very much like a takeoutrestaurant, but we didn't have any issues with it. The restaurant was clean and eating in was enjoyable. Read more

5% discount for students btw. Place is a order, pay, then sit down place. For someone who hasn't had much Filipino food before... this place was a nice introduction. I love grill food and the portions were a good size. Got the pancit and lechon kawali,10/10. Would also very much recommend getting the ube ice cream, it's top with a ginger sauce which served as a good contrastof flavours. Read more

My first time trying a Filipino restaurant in Waterloo and it is definitely up to my standards. You don't find many good... Filipino spots often and this place definitely hit the spot. Food is authentic, fresh and super flavourful for a decent price. Also a good portion too! I ordered liempo for my friend who tried Filipino food for the first time, a tosilog for myself andspring rolls to share. Liempo was super tender and flavourful and definitely one of the top BBQ pork bellies I've tried. Mytosilog was very reminiscent of a good home cooked breakfast which I know the tosilig is homemade and not the packaged ones thatsome Filipino restaurants use. The lumpia shanghai was crisp and filled with flavourful meat inside. I would definitely comeback whenever I'm in the Waterloo area. Thank you for making my friend's first experience such a good one. He was surely ineuphoria. Can't wait to try the platters and other dishes! Read more
