We dined in on Wednesday, and witnessed the rudest group of students. The way they treated the server was uncalled for. The... international students think they are entitled. This happened around 11pm. I believe they also left the last 2 reviews. $450bill $25tip, that's under $2 per person. You had the only server running around all night to accommodate you. You yelled,screamed , and abused her. If you can't afford a decent tip or you're cheap, stay home and cook for yourself. Non the less. Thefood here is amazing. And service is great. Food is very cheap so that?s nice, service was below average but that?s whatever it?s a pub in a university area I?m not... expecting anything special. 100% sure I got food poisoning from here though I got the nachos and the buttermilk chicken burger.Me and my friend shared the nachos and she?s fine so we know it?s not from that so I?m pretty sure it?s from the chicken burger.Side note nachos and the fries were pretty good but the burger was definitely dry though. A fun bar to hit for students at local universities. As long as you know what to expect, you'll have a good time. Around 10PM... some tables are moved out of the way and the area around the bar becomes a dance floor, and the bar gets very loud and rowdy,packed with universities students looking to have a good time. It can get very packed in this area, but the main seating area isalways away from the action so you always have a spot to go if you need to take a step back from the crowd. What a place! I went on Tuesday night and it was fully packed. Service is a bit slow but can't complain as it gets crazy busy... after 11 pm. Keep cash with you. Must try place in Waterloo Read more
Pretty decent food options for around $7 each! The burger was filling and we enjoyed our meal. However, the music is loud and it... is quite dark as it is more of a bar/pub type restaurant and the line is usually long to get inside on certain days so just beprepared for that. Overall, no complaints as you do get what you pay for in terms of price and quality. Read more
The service and food was great and everything in reasonably priced. The Turkey Club was incredible, the vegetables were fresh,... and the turkey was a nice thickness and good quality. The fish was lightly breaded and a great size fillet. The tartar saucethat the fish & chips came with was delicious. The wings were great and they smelt amazing. Read more
We went on a Wednesday night so it's safe to say that it wasn't busy at all. In this review I'll be talking about the service... and food below. Food: we ordered Cajun wings and Antojitos for starters which honestly the only good about that night. Have nocomplaints for the beer as well. But the burgers were down right inedible. I ordered the classic hamburger with fries and thepatty was dry like paper not to mention no sauce in it not even the good ol' mayo. Service: I don't even know where to startwith on the service we received. When we entered and got ourselves seats,for the first 15-20 mins no one came. Servers werewalking by us and still not bothering to even give is the menu there wasn't even a QR code in that seat. We had to literallycall out a server to get us menus and then through out the night, we had to keep looking for the server and keep calm her foreven asking for water, they didn't even check up on us. All the servers were just going behind the bar and chatting to themselves. And also the restaurant closed at 1am but they made us pay the bills before 11pm which was weird. Update on July 7th 2022. I was in the area so we decided to come for dinner. I went to the bar area to ask for a cold glass... for my beer or to have one chilled, and a female staff member said that they don't have and left the bar area. Another femalestaff member came and I asked her the same.... her answer right away was "of course" I can do that for you. Her name is Cora.I/we were lucky to have her assisting us at the table. She was very friendly, professional and helpful. She provided greatsuggestions and helped me by explaining the menu items and to make a choice. Cora was just exceptional with my wife, my 2 and a1/2 years old son and myself. Kudos to her for her awesome attitude and personality. The food as always, it was amazing anddelicious, and as I mentioned before, with their prices, you just can't go wrong. When in the area.
