Ok burgers. For every burger we tried ? the malibu melt and a fried chicken burger, I wished the meat was way more juicy. They... have a wide and interesting selection and combinations but I think they?re missing the essence of a basic good burger. Therewasn?t anything that jumps out to me and I struggled to finish my burger. Atmosphere wise, I?d also have expected a betterenvironment for the price point. The service was very friendly however it was a tad slower than expected as the servers were quite busy and were also training... new staff. Tried the Hipster burger - it was alright but nothing special and was a bit on the drier side (lacked condiments).The burger also came with avocado - felt like it should have been added with seasoning as the avocado did not add much to theburger in the way it was presented. If you don't want to go to the Works for anything other than their milkshakes, that is completely okay! This cookie dough... birthday cake was amazing. Service was wonderful and the 'Taste of Heaven' burger mostly lives up to its name. Read more
My husband picked up an order on march 8 to celebrate International Women's Day. Well, the celebration was ruined. We ordered a... medium well burgers but ended up with completely burnt out ones. The one was so bad that my fingers smelled like smoke for thenext hours and soap didn't help! Also, the pictures and the burgers are different - you see that the burger has a lettuce but infact it doesn't. The salad (cutted veggies, huh) and poutine were ok. Read more

Came here in 2018 and got the Bacon You Fancy Huh? burger. Our table also shared 2 onion towers. I have no complaints about the... food, although it's nothing super special. I still remember having to wait a while to get our food which was longer thanacceptable to be honest. To be completely honest, I wouldn't go back since the prices were pretty high and the wait was just toolong for my liking. Read more
Was VERY disappointed, had been a long time since I?ve eaten at restaurant. used to love going to the works, but now I?ll never... go back. There was only one server and one cook in the kitchen, 5 full tables and numerous skip the dishes orders going out. Myfood was burnt and my broccoli I had tasted old. Ordered my burger on a ?lettuce bun? and it came on a few leaves of salad. Onlyate the burger because I haven?t eaten all day and was hungry, there was no point in complaining because we would have waitedanother 40 min for our food to be re-made, and did not want to stress the waiter out because he was the only one there.
