We brought visiting friends over to eat at this place and they were astonished and pleased with the serving portions. The view... was wonderful and the interior design and ambiance were cozy, classy, and tasteful. The staff were friendly and accommodating.We had a pleasant time. The washrooms were very clean and well maintained. I just thought I should put it out there. I have athing where I get dismayed when an establishment’s washroom isn’t as well maintained as the lounge or dining areas. Kudos tothe staff and management for keeping the state of cleanliness standard in all areas of the establishment. We will be back withmore friends and family for sure. Read more

We were looking for somewhere nice for my moms 60ths birthday and stumbled upon Lakeside Chophouse. We got a table outside... facing the mountains and it was spectacular, a memory she will remember and love forever. The service was amazing, 3 of theirstaff came out singing Happy Birthday for us with a candle in the dessert we ordered. Now the food, it wasn't bad, but it wasn'tgreat. The burger was dry, the crab cakes weren't crispy or tasty, the only thing was good was their seafood pasta dish. I thinknext time I'd try one of the other restaurants facing the lake/mountains but the rest of the experience makes me want to give it4 stars. Read more

I have been here 3 times so far this summer and each meal has been fantastic! Today we tried the calamari it was exceptional.... Love sitting on the beautiful patio. We dined here in trepidation the day after we'd dined at its sister restaurant in the same hotel and had a terrible meal. But it... was a complete 180°! Our server, Brad, was engaged, hilarious, prompt and attentive. Our cocktails were well-made andinteresting, the wine and beer lists were adequate and the view was lovely. Brad recommended the crab cakes and they were crispand flavourful. We had the goat cheese flatbread, which was generously topped and delicious. We had the Brussels sprouts, andalthough they were very undercooked, they were still very tasty. But the HANDS DOWN highlight was the Southern Fried ChickenSandwich. Perfectly cooked, perfectly sauced, squishy brioche bun...we whimpered through the whole thing and came back the nextday to have it again. This restaurant was a huge hit with us. We dined there again the next day and sat outside on the patiowhich was lovely. Our server that day did not 'wow' us the way that Brad had, but she was adequate and the food was just asamazing. What an amazing experience! We were in Waterton for 4 days but had to make 3 or 4 stops at the Lakeside Chophouse! Every meal we... had here was fantastic and the staff were phenomenal!! We brought a group of 7 with no reservation and they seated us so nicely! They did say that management wouldn't let them stick... any tables together, which we thought was weird... You should let your employees make customer-facing decisions. They're great,hospitable people and know what they're doing. I'm sure they're able to put the tables back to where they were before. Incredible experience. We brought a large group and everything turned out great. Super friendly staff, the food was better than... I anticipated, and the ambiance and view was impossible to beat.
