The serving sizes are pretty good for the price, considering its in a national park. The food was good, gravy a bit salty. I... just had bison burger and smash burger, its hard to mess that up! Would also recommend the nachos. Read more

Great vibe! Wonderful service and they also play really great music here. The only reason it didn't get 5/5 starts is I found... the food to just be average. Nothing to write home about. Read more

We put our name down for a patio table since they were full and we had dogs with us. We got a text a lot earlier than expected,... which was nice! Service was friendly. The lady who sat us said she'd see if they had a water bowl for our dogs, but we neverheard from her again. We later asked our server for a bowl, and she brought one out. We ordered 3 starters to share - chickenwings, brussel sprouts, and garlic yam fries. The brussel sprouts were the best, followed by the garlic yam fries (wish therewas a bit more garlic evenly distributed). Def get the sprouts! The chicken wings were a disappointent. We ordered the saly andpepper wings, and while they were crispy and cooked well, they really lacked flavor and could have used a lot more salt andpepper. Read more

Absolutely loved our experience! Price for the food was very reasonable, and the food was delicious. Service was a little slow -... but very worth it for the food. We ordered the nachos... it may sound silly but they actually layered the toppings all throughthe nachos! (Often rare) so very pleased for the price! The side sauces were also huge so you weren't short of sour cream andhomemade salsa! Definitely recommend. Read more

For the price, I was so so disappointed in the fish tacos. Upon first glance it looked good with big portions of fish, but it... was SO OILY. Like a literal pool of oil dripping out of each taco, definitely caused a loss of appetite. My friend received awarm beer and his burger really lacked flavour, he even had to add salt to it? I had high hopes based on the reviews, but thisjust wasn?t it. Read more

I REALLY wanted to give this place a higher review. The indoor space is clean, warm and inviting, a very "True North"... atmosphere, with lots of wood and attractive decor. The service is prompt and friendly. There was fantastic live music by a ladynamed Jenny. The patio is lovely; you're surrounded by planter boxes and scenic mountains and the rustic charm of this beautifultown. The food, though. We had 4 dishes. We had the Banh Mi, which was a whole chorizo sausage on an undressed hard, stiff, drybun with nothing even remotely pickled, just some shredded carrots and cilantro and some fresh cucumber slices. We had the porkbelly bao buns, which were dry and flavorless, with more of the carrot and cilantro bits. We had the shrimp gyoza which weredeepfried to hockey pucks and would have had ZERO flavour if it weren't for the garnish. We had the Smash Burger which was byfar the best of the bunch, but which had a hard and slightly stale bun. We had hilariously terrible Old Fashioneds for $18/drink. The whole thing came with the classic Waterton exorbitant price tag, which I am usually happy to pay with a smile on myface, but it hurt my heart to give away my money for this outrageously disappointing meal. This place has the potential to bethe 'whole package', but its missing the mark with the food, which, at the end of the day, is why we stopped in. Read more

Ok, sure. Maybe the menu lacks focus. Maybe mixing Grande Nachos with Shrimp Gyoza and a Nashville Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich... might give you culinary ADHD nightmares. Fair point. But you know what? The food comes out fully cooked, the staff is superfriendly, and the local beer is cold. You're on vacation and it?s beautiful outside. Enjoy! Read more

Cute decor, friendly and prompt service, but mediocre food. We ordered the bao and the smash burger. The pork belly in the bao... was very tough, the sauce a tad overwhelming (could be said for burger too). Burger not too memorable. I was grateful for thevariety in the menu but low expectations were the way to go. Also, a bit sticker shock from how quickly the bill added up. Read more
