Talk about a hidden gem... Like many of the other reviewers, I can not wait to go back. We ordered the onion dip, crispy... fingerlings, chicken sandwich, braised lamb, and chocolate mousse. All were out of this world. Staff was friendly and attentive,they even got us some extra chips to finish off that amazing onion dip. Everything was clean, clean, clean and well designed. 12/10. Amazing!!! The Local 63 blew my mind. I live in NYC but grew up in Watertown and this restaurant rivals any of the my... favorite spots in the city. The food and drinks are incredible. Jason and Lauren have curated an incredible menu of freshoptions all made in house. The chicken sandwich was so good I ordered it twice in one weekend. Gnocchi and potatoes wereincredible too. Everyone loved their meal. The cocktails were amazing and with the combined experience behind the bar you can beconfident ordering any classic drink and getting it perfectly made. I’m so happy I finally have a great spot to go every timeI’m in town. The decor is classy and so cool to see old photos of Watertown from the historical museum on the walls. We had the best experience. We basically ate about 75% of the menu and every, single bite was delicious. Their menu changes with... the freshest available ingredients, so I won\'t say my favorites in case you can\'t get them- but I would venture thateverything on the menu is good. My favorite desert is rice pudding and theirs is perfection. And they are wise and put theraisins on top for those who don\'t like them. This will be a regular spot for me for sure. Well done! Went there last night with my family and hands down one of the best meals I\'ve had in a long time. Service in this bustling... (but not overcrowded) establishment was attentive and outstanding. Drinks were creative, with a homemade flair. Absolutely pricewas right. Menu is focused and thoughtful but with enough variety for us all. It is very clear they care about the totalexperience of a casual sophisticated (and delicious!) dinner without the pretense. Highly recommend for anyone looking for aunique but familiar and comfortable experience. Would definitely go back when I\'m in the area and even go out of my way for thebuttermilk chicken! Read more

Their food and drink menus are very unique and priced... extremely reasonably.\n\nLauren and her team accommodated us on their second day open which we were very grateful for. The local 63 is comfortable and welcoming, but most importantly the food is exceptional. The menu is full of interesting and... well thought out options. The surprisingly reasonable prices made it easy to sample a lot of different things. Highlights of ourmeal were the smoked trout dip, the pork sandwich, and the chocolate mousse dessert - but given the attention to detail weexperienced in everything I am confident that no choice will be regretted. We enjoyed a lovely long Sunday afternoon lunch withour 6 month old, who was welcomed and accommodated by the excellent staff. We look forward to returning soon to try the rest ofthe menu. Read more
