Wow! I’m so surprised we didn’t know about this place. The mediterranean platter and the jerk chicken were delightful. While... the location is small the environment is vibrant. We were surprised to be the only ones in the restaurant that night (Mondayevening) particularly because of how good the food was. If you haven’t tried it you definitely should. The platter offered anice variety. The salad and chicken were particularly our favorites. I enjoyed this but don’t know I would get it again. Thejerk chicken was exceptional - best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor, tender and juicy. It is spicy but it offers nice flavorwith heat without feeling like your mouth is on fire. we will be back! Read more

We live in Watertown and wish we knew about this place sooner. Great place to go and try a variety of foods and flavors. We... got the vegan platter and the Jamaican platter which served 3 of us. Very happy with our choice, though as we were walking outwe saw several other plates that others had that looked very tempting. We will have to come back and try those too! Read more

It would be easy to miss Nzuko if you were just driving by, but you shouldn't. We stopped in on a whim on a random Sunday and... are very glad we did. First thing to know, Yelp might take you to a close, but wrong address. So unless you want to make somerandom friends with people at an apartment complex you may want to just look it up in Google maps. Second thing to know, youcan park in the lot and the parking garage next to the restaurant. The spaces are numbered which made us think they arereserved, but they are not. The list of times I'm wrong seems to never end which I was reminded of on the long, unnecessary, walk back to the car. When you walk through the door you are greeted by a cool, chic vibe. Looking for a good place for a datenight, this is it. We looked at the drink menu and trepidatiously ordered a cucumber and Hibiscus cocktail. I was afraid theywould be over sweet and taste fake. The list of times I am wrong grew again. The drinks were fabulous. Refreshing and not overlysweet. A perfect sipper on a hot summer day. Many of the dishes are sharable. We got the vegetarian delight platter which camewith 4 large falafels, pita bread, an assortment of hummus, or whatever the correct pluralization is (hummuses, humussi?), Grapeleaves, olives, and plantains. It easily served 2 people. The falafel was moist, a nice departure from many others we've had,and packed with flavor. The grape leaves had a bright lemon zest to them and the hummus/hummuses we're delicious. The icing ontop was the plantain. The owner came out to talk to us and is an incredibly interesting, sweet, and kind person. I would eatthere again just for the chance to talk to her. We left Nzuko happy and full. I'd highly recommend it. Read more

Ordered a jerk chicken and chicken kabob dinner and realized price here is significantly higher than the Framingham location.... The bill was $55 just two dinner platters. I’m all for paying for quality food and I really wanted to like this place and givea good review. However the chicken was not fresh unless it was just overcooked. Jerk chicken was tasty but some parts of it wasdried up like jerky. The kabob was a lot dryer and I hate a hard time downing it. The positives were the rice that it came withit was nicely seasoned and flavorful. Read more
