The restaurant has several signs saying independently owned and operated, not sure if this is a reference to the number 2 as... compared to the number 1. I have been in both and I can vouch that this place is great. We ordered octopus scarpagio, sushientrees and combos and everything taste fresh, the service was super friendly and prompt. There were enough tables for us to sitand it felt nice and open. I wish I had more time to try their desert but definitely a great place for sushi and saw an onlinereview placing them in the top three sushi places to visit in Boston. Read more

We got two soups, avocado salad, two maki rolls and everything was quite delicious. One of the rolls was their special of the... day with torched torro on top and it was a great recommendation. It cost 20 something bucks for that one roll though (becausetuna belly), so just keep that in mind. The only draw back is the service. If you are a regular, you're good to go. They seatyou right away and take your order quickly. If you're not, just order take out. It took us a bit to place our orders. Went with my wife. She had chicken teriyaki and I had the House Maki. My wife also ordered tuna sushi which she said was... delicious and with a thick piece of tuna. This became our go-to Japanese restaurant since Guinza changed management a couple of years back. It's not inviting from the... outside, but when you step in it' transports you with the colors and typical smell of good japanese restaurants. Fish is superfresh and their offer goes far beyond Salmon. We shared one of their combo sushi and sashimi platters. Fish was fresh and therice was fine. Will return for sure! Read more

Craved some sushi on a Sunday afternoon and headed here with no expectations and boy, am I blown away! Hands down the best sushi... I’ve had in Boston. To be honest I haven’t tried too many places but this one definitely beats every place I’ve tried tofar! Fresh rolls and fresh fish, with perfect mingling!
