Terrible. Had reservations for a party of 10, food didn't come out for over an hour. When the food finally started coming out,... it came in increments of 10 minutes. My kids only ordered chocolate chip pancakes yet they got their food last and by that timealmost everyone else was done eating. My mom had to find a waitress to get coffee refilled. We never got some of the food thatcame with the meal (hashbrowns, sides, ect..). We left feeling very disappointed. I will say the man that helped deliver ourdrinks was very pleasant (maybe a bus boy or kitchen worker- had a dark beard with appropriate netting). Read more
Looks can be deceiving. I am completely in shock at how mismanaged this IHOP is. Only one person wearing uniform, from what I... can see. The host was terrible. She as well as the entire staff need to be trained. Corporate or whomever need, must send intrainers. The pancakes were burnt. The coffee was bitter. The fried eggs made on a burnt grill. To top off the horribleexperience, we paid cash and were supposed to get back $5.43 the host, lady with the only blue shirt, said here's $5 we don'tgive change because we don't have any. Not properly managed at all. Someone should be doing the bank and accounting journals sothis should not happen. I manage and I would never allow this of my staff. Even if I have to work right along side my team,which I proudly do. Now, I'm hoping IHOP will see this and realize there needs to be a resolution to this problem before theyimplode. This restaurant is by far the worst IHOP my family and I visit. The waitress is very friendly but the restaurant is really dirty... and stinks. Also they have signs on the wall and menu that kids eat free everyday from 4-10pm with each full priced adultentree purchase so my family and I decided to get that deal but wen we done eating there they gave us the receipts and theycharge us for the kids meal. Currently at the place, 30 minutes in, still waiting for my food. Just got coffee and water. No follow-up, at least asking if... we would like more coffee. Will update with FAST review once we finish. Food: was cold. Seems it was sitting there for a while.Lost my appetite with the wait, and that the food was cold made it worse.. Ambience: Typical diner feel. There was a napkin onthe floor the entire time we were there. A table across (in the pic) was left as is the entire time we were there. So,cleanliness is a matter of question. Service: the server was very courteous and polite, but was very slow. Time: It took us allof 70minutes to get in and out, that's considering we ate fast and asked for the check instead of enjoying the food (though notmuch to enjoy) or waiting for the server to approach us asking if we needed anything (we needed to get out soon). Today we thought why not IHOP! Well we were sat down promptly and sever waiter for drink choices I felt rushed. About 10-15... mins go by and our drinks come we ordered. My pancakes were cold and I ate them dry because it?s clear they don?t clean thetables as you can see in my picture. The ham was 1/2 of a piece cut in half.Looking at my picture everything was just slammed onplate. Looking around the restaurant there so many dirty tables. Like it no one works there anymore. The reeses pancakes were AMAZING. Got them substituted for the regular pancakes in the breakfast sampler. Free coffee refills... were nice, server was great. Honestly if I could rate more than 5 stars I would. I don't understand any of the negative reviewson here, everything was perfect for me. Read more
I rarely give a poor review, that being said, I do not recommend the IHOP in Watertown. Our server was ok, given her situation... of essentially working the floor on her own however, the overall experience was enough to make me and my family walk out! Therestaurant was FILTHY, there were enough flys that we couldn't keep them off our food for the few minutes it was on the table.The service was disorganized as well. Although the entire restaurant was full of open space, we were all seated together inbooths with no spacing. I understand that the Covid restrictions have been lifted, but let's use some common sense!! We weregenerously given a 10% discount for our troubles, one that we could have received anyways. Got seated right away. Then maybe 5 minutes later got drink order. Five tables had people at them two tables already had their... food. Other tables had their drinks. Waited for over a half hour plus for drinks received nothing. One person working Iunderstand. But then I believe it was the cook? ( was dressed in gray head to toe) anyways come out and placed one family. Thenjust kept standing looking around. The other person was mainly by the register. When he did walk by the table didn?t say sorrywe are a little behind or anything. As stated before not even drinks were received. Will not be going back to this restaurantever again. Read more
