We visited this place on 09/12/2022 with some friends. They told us about it and how they enjoyed it. We arrived in the... afternoon and there was plenty of seating available at that time. We did not have to wait. We were greeted upon entering andallowed to choose where we wanted to sit. Our friends advised that we should try the avocado salad as a starter. It was prettygood, as me and Buttercup enjoy avocados. She ordered the Snow White Roll, California Roll, and something else. I had the Sushiand Sashimi Combo. They were all delicious! The fish seemed to be of high quality and fresh. The presentation was that of ahigher end restaurant, but the prices were pretty good. We will definitely be back for more! We highly recommend this place forsushi. I do believe they also had Hibachi, but we did not try any on this go round. Maybe on our third or fourth trip, after weget our fill of sushi and sashimi! My partner and I love this place from the delicious food to the friendly staff. We are both vegetarian, so the lead sushi chef... prepares personalized items to accommodate us. My husband and I were excited to try this place for their 5 star reviews on here and unfortunately were disappointed. Initially... upon entering, we were greeted by a lovely waitress who gave us our menus. But then another server came to take our order andhandle our table for the rest of the time. This waitress was not personable at all and any time I would ask a question about themenu, she would either not answer at all, or give brief answers. She was clearly in a rush. I ordered the Yakisoba noodles andmy husband the Teryiaki Dinner. We both got the miso soup and garden house salad to go with it. Soup and salad were ok. Not muchto rave about - tiny portions, tofu in soup were micro pieces and salad dressing was so watered down, almost like a soup. Ittook a while to get our main meal, but once we did, unfortunately that was a disappointment too. Food wasn?t hot and theportions were ridiculously small for the price. My noodles were like something I could make at home - nothing fancy, justseasoned thin spaghetti noodles. They used chicken breast for the meat and it was so dry and unflavored - clearly hasn?t beenmarinated. My husband got his teriyaki chicken with a tiny side bowl of rice?which I thought was a complete joke. If you order achicken teriyaki dinner, a big amount of rice should be served with the meat, not in a tiny bowl on the side. His chicken wasalso dry and not much flavor other than the teriyaki sauce. The yum yum sauce didn?t help much either as it was overpowered withthe mayo and watered down as well. I considered sending my food back, but honestly didn?t want to deal with the waitress as shewas already very impersonable. She would rarely came to our table and it was hard to communicate anything to her as she wouldn?trespond when you asked her something. Our family loves this place! We enjoy the regular menu as well as the sushi menu. The sushi is the freshest we?ve had anywhere!... We often ask for ?chefs special rolls? and they always amaze us! This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Athensarea. Read more
This place has become my regular. We get take out here about 3+ times a week. I get the spicy combo with tuna, salmon and... yellowtail, salad with ginger dressing and I swap the miso out for onion soup. I really like their onion soup. Read more
