Spent the weekend in Monterey and after spending way too much money at all of the overrated, over priced, over crowded tourist... hot spot restaurants, it was amazing to find this gem! The folks who work here were amazing. The vibes were chill. Thecustomers seemed to be mostly locals which made it feel a bit more like coming home... and the food was amazing. Thank you Beach Street Cafe! The staff was wonderful! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The scratch made... salsa could have been a meal on its own. I have ordered food from Beach Street Cafe on DoorDash and I've also ordered in person. The food here is amazing. I've never had... a bad dish. The service is excellent and the staff are charismatic and sweet. If you're in the area, stop here and get breakfastor lunch. I highly recommend! Read more

Love this place. Haven?t been back for over 2 years. The chicken fried steak was just as good as the first time. I was sorry I... didn?t get to see Abel, he was always so nice to talk to. The staff was friendly and polite. The food was good and priced well. We all enjoyed our time there with the outdoor seating.
