BEST BARBECUE ON EARTH!!! Seriously, every single morsel and everything I ordered was the best of that item I have ever had. I... LOATH cornbread, but the jalapeño cornbread was the first thing I tried and finished it right then. Brisket baked beans- holycow so good. Hot sausage was so delicious and flavorful, especially with the South Carolina mustard- holy crap? The house saucewas delicious and unique, the other sauces were great too. Literally the best Mac and cheese I have ever tasted, even cold. Ifyou like BBQ Productions, This place puts them to shame in price, flavor, sauce, and atmosphere. Highly recommend, and I willnever go anywhere else for barbecue. They will be catering our next event, and we will be purchasing several sausages to cook onthe grill and likely atleast 3 bottles of sauce. I?ve already eyed 4 items I want in their adorable store. Glad we found something new to eat in Wauconda. The food was homemade, fresh and tasty. Great prices compared to some of the... other restaurants in town. I had a smoked Italian beef and the zesty pasta. I loved all of it and already planning what I wantto try next on their menu. It had a cute country shop inside and was neat and tidy everywhere. My partner and I had a Groupon for this neat little spot in town. We decided to give them a try irregardless of all the... controversy. We were greeted by one of the employees, and shown the menu. They explained the sauces they had, and got our orderto our table promptly. I had the pulled pork basket and my partner had the bbq chicken basket, plus peach baked beans and macand cheese. The pulled pork was delicious, and my partner loved the bbq chicken! The Mac and Cheese was delightful with a smokyflavor and melted cheese on top and the cornbread was soft and buttery. The sauces were legit out of this world! Our favoriteswas the blueberry bourbon, Kansas City, and plum whiskey! We got to order a side dessert of Peach Cobbler and it was alsodelicious, just like homemade. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu. The employees were very knowledgeable,attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting, and they had some handmade home and body products like soaps,lotions and candles as well. So happy i found this place! Gf and i stopped in for the first time for dinner this past weekend, and I ordered delivery for... lunch today. Will definitely be returning soon. Excellent home-made dishes from good, down-to-earth, friendly people who careabout what they do. You may find some of these dishes elsewhere, but you wont get the same care or charm that you get here. Makesure to stop here if you're ever in or around Wauconda. Highly recommend. Read more
