I would give Whisk ten stars if I could! My son & his fiancé called to order me a surprise birthday cake ????Normally it takes... a week but they did it in two days. And WOW! Cherry blossom trees with flowers ???? around the entire cake, along with so manyother details!! On top of that they wrote Happy Birthday in Korean accurately AMAZING! I ordered a custom cake for my mom?s 75th birthday. She wanted something special. I ordered a custom cake of cannoli filling... with orange cake. They were very helpful over the phone. The cake was decorated really simple and cute. However, the orangecake was incredibly dry and not a lot of flavor. The filling was just ok, not a lot of flavor either. For the price, I wouldhave expected a moist cake. Unfortunately, this isn?t my first negative experience with Whisk. I decided to give them a secondchance. The first time I ordered a coconut custard pie. They said they could do this custom order, no problem. Again theyare super nice and helpful over the phone which is appreciated. When I picked it up, I found out it was coconut cream, notcoconut custard as I ordered. Unfortunately, another disappointing experience for a special birthday. They have great cinnamonrolls and egg burritos but I will not use them any more for special custom orders any more. Read more
Whisk bakery is absolutely charming and beautiful the moment you walk in. I came here for a birthday cake after seeing some... neighbors raving about it. I ordered my cake and took a cannoli and cookies to go. THEY WERE AMAZING!!!! A week later, I wentback to get the cake which was better than I could have dreamed up. It was decorated perfectly. I also took a cinnamon roll andmore cookies, different flavors than the first time. The cinnamon roll was warm and soft, and absolutely melt in your mouthgood. The cookies were PERFECTLY baked. The birthday cake was for my moms 75th birthday and everyone could not stop talkingabout how delicious it was. There are not words to describe how delicious this cake really was. Not only was it perfectlydecorated, it tasted amazing. You can tell that Whisk loves what they are doing, and they show it in every baked good that theycreate. Im a Whisk customer for life. This is a great coffeeshop and bakery. The staff is friendly and you can see everyone in the back bakery working which is neat.... My coffee was delicious, and they even customized it according to a niche request with some supplies from the bakery. Mycinnamon roll was also good, even though it had cream cheese icing which isn't my favorite but they make it work. Overall Iwould definitely recommend this business.
