Went to eat breakfast/lunch here around 11am. Wahlburgers employee discouraged us from sitting down for ?breakfast? and pushed... us to the other dining area, where you are not allowed to order breakfast. It seemed like neither side of the restaurant reallywanted us there and suggested the other side. Became too complicated where to sit and couldn?t order what we wanted so we left. Read more
Was just weird. Went on Sunday at about 12:30. Entered via the restaurant door from parking lot. Were directed out into the... store to order at the counter...like it was "fast food"... was given instructions...pulled our own silverware once we found it,got our drinks, and were charged prices like it was a regular restaurant. They gave us a number for our table and 20+ minuteslater our food came out...the fruit cup was warm. I am hoping that we don't get sick, but it was obviously not from arefrigerator. The one person staffing the area did her best. The kids' chicken strip dinners came with no dipping sauce, butketchup was on the table...the sliders had no onion, pickles, or any other additions. I found some mustard over by thesiverware that is grab your own, meaning that anybody could touch all of the utensils...so much for sanitation. I cleaned up mytable, like I was at McDonalds... Come on, HyVee. With what I paid, we could have much better food and service, with a lowerprice, at Chick FilA. The kids did say that the chicken strips were OK. Since you are a HUGE grocery store chain, the factthat your purchasing point is exceptionally low based on volume should dictate prices that are competitive, not higher thanstand alone small businesses. The bartender was nice enough, but had trouble with pouring a draft beer. We got fried pickles and pretzel bites and they were... great. The burgers were very undercooked. I ate about a quarter of it before I had to give up. The bun was so soggy withblood and grease that they couldn't be picked up. Definitely not worth $64 for 2 dinners. Read more
Ordered the Smoked Bacon Arugula Salad for lunch and it was not good. Felt more of a side salad than a good sized lunch salad.... The dressing was AWFUL! Glad I tried it before I put it on everything, otherwise I would've had to toss the entire thing. For$10, I got a sad salad that I had to put dressing from the office fridge on. Not worth it. I have no complaints over the food or service, just the model for service and the price point. 2 meals, 2 drinks, and an... appetizer ran $50, which seemed high given there was no wait staff, and very poor signage on where to go to order. Everyone Iencountered was happy to point me in the correct direction, it is just weird that they offer the same level of service asHardee's. Read more
We ordered lunch and my usual is the Thanksgiving turkey burger. Today my turkey burger came with a beef slider patty, not a... turkey burger. There was about a cup of mayo on the burger as well. The burger was completely falling apart and inedible. Theburger patty was also way overcooked. Such a disappointing experience! But the manager did contact me and issued a refund so onthat end, great service. Read more
The server was more interested in flirting with girls than doing his job. The order was not only wrong but the food was poorly... made and looked like it was just shoved into the burger box. The "crispy onion rings" were more like onion strings that werecold and nowhere near crispy. The ONLY thing good on my order were the fries and they were no better than B-Bops or any otherfast food chain. This was my first and last time eating at this restaurant. Read more
You can get a medium rare burger!!! Great taste & quality! Would be nice to get something better up on the TVs. It was between... games, but no one seemed to be paying attention. Read more
