The BEST soul food and fried chicken in Lake County. Staff is friendly and menu has lots of delicious options. Banana pudding... and cherry kool-aid are my treat to myself. I love all the choices on the menu. Plus kool-aid wow. Ribs are great but skimpily! CATFISH CATFISH CATFISH bang for your buck... there and it taste great. ????Well, initially my wife ??had stopped off and got some ribs at Brown's unbeknownst to me. I thought they came from City or... Hillary's or some of the other places around town like Big Ed's maybe. But she said they came from Brown's Chicken! I waspleasantly surprised so today she went back, picked up a big order, and the ribs were done to perfection! Now, they have lots ofdifferent sauces to choose from, but the flavor of the ribs is such, that you don't need any sauce! And that is the mark ofdelicious ribs and an expert Pitmaster. Cut into the ribs, and you can see the smoke Corona from that slow cooking around theedges and in about a 16th of an inch. Inside super tender and juicy! No additives needed! The price is very competitive to theother barbecue joints, including captain porky's. Really the best value for your buck at browns, and the best flavor.???? Read more
First off, neat looking place! Clean and very welcoming atmosphere with a very pleasant and friendly staff. Food looks good and... taste good! Massive and juicy chicken tenders 3x that of chick fil a! A little bland to my taste but the BBQ sauce with hotsauce did some justice. Got my order wrong but was very happy to replace it. The soda was flat and also was very fast to takecare of the issue. Like I said the staffs are very nice and lovely. Price is very fair for the excellent meal.
