I being going to Los Comales for many years in Chicago. I was not impressed with this particular restaurant, service was very... uncomfortable the lady was rude and not attentive we ask for water plus some regular trink and we only got one cup with waterfor 3 pp. When the waitress came with our food she was holding the plates up in the air for us to grab them. I didn't understandis not like the restaurant was full, she only had two table one of 3 which was our table and the other table with 2 adults and achild. Los Comales in the city are known for the small tasty tacos. Definitely missing the taste. I will not come to thisrestaurant again. I rather go to any Los Comales in the Chicago. Read more
Not sure if they understand about how rude it is to serve 1 person their meal and your other party/ family 20 minutes apart.... Cooks/staff need to be trained on serving everyone in your party/table warm food at the same time. It was literally a waste of agood outing. Regardless of how short staffed you are!! Read more
Esther was extremely rude when we asked about the almost 2 hours it took to prepare our 5 tacos. Staff needs to be better... trained and disciplined. Last time we order from here. Read more
Very good authentic Mexican food, a authentic experience
Been here a few times and loved the food. They opened a new drive thru and I have used it twice. The first time was great and... the second time total waste of time. The young lady took my order, my money and NEVER came back. I sat there in my car for12minutes and not once did she come back. She totally disappeared. I had to park my car and go in and ask if my food was ready.I was prepared to give the benefit of the doubt, maybe it's busy and maybe it's taking longer. But when I asked and my food wasjust sitting there...then I got angry. My advise order to go from the INSIDE! Read more
Honestly shocked that I?ve been in Waukegan for so long and never knew about this place!!!This is the breaded chicken torta... dinner. Ana was our server and she was super friendly, and despite being the only waitress and having non stop take out ordersher service was great! Most definitely will be coming back! Read more
I was very satisfied with my food. This is the another restaurant with one of my fav items, gorditas. Now they weren't made... exactly the way I like but they were still so good even when I was having an allergic reaction to Trident cinnamon gum. It mademy tongue numb, but that food was still good. Only 3 stars because it was my first time and the steak was a little tough for me.I will like to try again though. Read more
