Will never come here because of how dangerously they drive their catering van. They nearly t-boned me pulling into a Meijier gas... pump and then stopped and motioned me to come fight them in their road rage. I pulled away and wrote this review instead. The feeling is cozy and welcoming coming in. Food was s cooked fresh and if you have a problem they rectify it quickly as my dad... ordered almost weekly. Prices are typical for COVID inflation. If you can pay extra for your cigarettes and booze , what?s acouple more bucks for some good home cooked food? Very family oriented and caring. Would highly recommend if in the area. Read more
Had a small issue with a recent order but Honey Bay BBQ took care of me they reached out & asked to call in , WOW that's a first... for me and I was born & raised here and their the first to do this. I didn't ask for replacement or refund but they really careabout their customers by doing this , Thank You very much and keep up the Great work!!! Made a review a couple days ago criticizing the food and service of this restaurant. Afterwards the owner reached out and... invited me back for another chance. This time around the food was amazing. So I am editing my review because of the effort andtotal improvement from my 1st visit. But even better was the customer service from the owner himself and Cookie, the cashier.Both had great hospitality and I recommend to inform BBQ Johnson anytime you experience a problem. He?s a good guy and caresabout his customers. He is very passionate about his restaurant and will most likely balance out the issue you have. Keep up thegood work! Read more
Superb!! I don?t know which was better, the grill or fried pork chops. Had a side that consists of mash potatoes, corn, orka... and an unknown ingredient that was the icing on the cake. Met the owner, the cook and a very optimistic front cashierreceptionist that bragged on the food. She was absolutely ????% right. Didn't lie about a thing. However my favorite was thegrilled pork chop. It was everything and more than what my son Roger said it was. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Read more
I came to this place with my brother, and didn?t know what to expect. Everything about the chicken from the seasoning to the... tenderness to how juicy it was makes it an instant favorite spot of mine. Not to mention the people were extremely nice and madesure we had a great experience. We had the jerk chicken dinner with Mac and cheese and onion rings as sides. Read more
