Haven't been there in years because food quality was poor. Went yesterday to give them another shot. Food was freezer burned and... taste was horrible. Chips were not fresh and the drinks tasted like cheap cool aid. Will not be recommending to no one. Timesare tough but you must keep quality of food. Read more
Been eating at this location for 20 years! Never a bad experience. This location always has consistently great service and... food! ????????????I can't say anything bad about Pepe's! They've been around for a long time. I was about 10 years old or so when they... first opened up in Waukegan on Lewis Avenue. Their food is better than a lot of the so-called authentic, ethnically owned,Mexican restaurants. Don't let folks tell you any different, this place has good food and good drink. Many nights the ownerstands by the door to greet customers, you can't go wrong. ????And concerning a customer's review on tacos being wrapped on aglass plate, if you get a good beef sandwich if you get a good Polish sausage if you get a good hotdog or a deli sandwich from adecent deli they are always usually wrapped. Even in Mexican restaurants many times they have paper around the tacos to keep allthe accoutrements in place.????? Read more
