Do not dine here- save your time, money, and health. My fiance got a beer and it was disgusting. They served it to him in a... dirty glass AND told him apparently the "barrel went bad". So why is it available to serve to people? The waitress was VERYinattentive, forgetting things on the menu and preferences such as dressings or how many chips we wanted literally right afterasking us, then delivering the wrong things. When ordering burgers, we also told her how we would like them done as one does,and instead of letting us know they couldn't be prepared the ways we requested, she IGNORED us and didn't tell us until afterthe burgers were delivered to the table and we had cut them open to check how they were done. We wouldn't have even gottenburgers if they weren't going to be prepared properly. Instead of rare and medium rare they were both VERY well done. We alsogot the soup and salad and chips, but the salsa was so watered down that when dipping your chips, NONE of the salsa even stayedon. It looked like the chip was dunked in WATER. When addressing this to the manager, he seemed under the influence or high,glossy eyed, and acted like he didn't understand the words we were saying. He said they legally couldn't prepare our burgers inthe way requested, and that he "just got his certificate". So if you don't want overcooked burgers, not the sides you asked for,salsa water, old beer in dirty glasses, an inattentive waitress that clearly needs far more training, and a clearly untrainedand high manager, I suggest you skip this place.~ Read more
It?s no secret that every restaurant is struggling to find and maintain a full staff right now. I commend the restaurants that... are doing their best to make do with what they have. At 5pm on Tuesday night, the restaurant was busy. There were two servers, abartender, a hostess, a manager, and kitchen staff. The two servers were doing their best to stay on top of numerous tables,take orders, refill drinks, etc. The manager was cleaning tables and checking on tables. The kitchen staff brought out the foodto tables as soon as it was ready. Given the circumstances, I could not have asked for a better dining experience and I trulythink the staff deserves credit for working together and making the best of tough (and surely not fun) times. VERY poor experience. Our host was unwelcoming and our server was about the same. We ordered drinks and they forgot one for... 10mins. Our food was extremely poor, they forgot items and the server didn't come to check on our table a single time, we had towave an expeditor down. Our server wasn't busy, it was a motivation thing. There seemed to be no care for customer experience byher. Our hot food was cold and our cold food was warm. Chicken was so cold on one meal we couldn't eat it, our quesadillas werebasically chips we almost no cheese on them, our hamburger bun was stale and crumbled to the touch and our salad was so warm itwas a soggy mess. Service was not great on a Friday night. The hosts were a bit absent-minded and careless (they almost seated people at our... table, not realizing we were still there), and the servers did not check us regularly. They even forgot the people across fromus for a good while. When they were at our table, they were polite (I say "they" because Preston was training Brittany, and hedid very well in offering her insider knowledge of the trade... Well done, Preston). I will not be ordering or dining with Chilis again. I ordered the nachos. I?m not quite sure what I received when I picked up my... take out order this evening. Stopped in for a late lunch, not very busy, bar was closed and alcoholic beverages were unavailable, we are assuming there was... no bartender working. Took a bit to get sat, apparently there was only one young girl working. She was only seating in one smallsection, of which 2 tables were seated and the other 4 were dirty. She quickly cleaned one for us and got our drinksimmediately. We did the 2 for $10 lunch deal, which was a great deal. Started with a bowl of soup, though it was definitely NOTa full bowl, we had the chicken enchilada soup, it was delicious, but just warm, not hot. I had the spicy shrimp tacos, theyalso were barely warm, had good flavor, but were not spicy in the least! The tortilla chips and salsa were great. We also hadthe chicken chipotle bowl, this was spicy, but great flavor! Bathrooms were not clean, but we?ve definitely seen worse. All inall the food was ok, server was very nice and efficient.
