Coming from an Hispanic, this is THE WORST Mexican food Ive ever tasted. When I mean bad taste, I mean TERRIBLE food. Definitely... do not eat here. I might as well go to Taco Bell at that point. Read more

First visit to Cuco's Mexican Restaurant in Waunakee. Not too busy when we arrived, greeted by friendly server and seated right... away. Ordered a couple of house margarita's, although they were tasty they are small. Asked if we would like some salsa andchips, "sure" we responded - only to find that we were charged for them on our bill. I tried the Pollo Fundido and "she" hadthe shrimp chimichangas - our meals were good but not great. I never like to judge the quality of the food and the quality ofthe experience by the amount of the bill, but in this case I have to say the food quality doesn't match the $65 spent for twowith a couple of margaritas...and chips and salsa and extra sour cream. With all that said, our server was friendly andattentive, food was average, and experience was average at best. I think they can do better. Read more
Waitress couldn't speak English, had no clue what we were saying. She never smiled once!!
