1st time ever going out to eat here. Read all the reviews and I can absolutely agree with everyone that gave it 5 stars. The... seafood platter bananza I think they call it was absolutely positively outstanding!!!! The scallops, shrimp and haddock wereabsolutely delicious! The carrot soup was absolutely delicious as well with the warm hard rolls and garlic spread. The giantbaked potato was absolutely delicious with 2 helpings of sour cream and butter. The entire staff including bartender, hostessand our waitress there were super friendly. Not one time ever did I gave to ask for a refill which I usually have to sense Idrink 3 or 4 glasses with my meal. I will most definitely be taking my mother out there again soon. As for people commenting onthe price in their reviews all I could tell them is you get what you pay for. If you want to go out to eat and have somewonderful food and service and atmosphere Simpsons is a place to go. If you're not exactly sure what you want ask for arecommendation. Read more
We both had the prime rib dinner. It was FANTASTIC!!! It was very juicy and cooked to perfection!!! The garlic mashed potatoes... were delicious as well! We started with cheese curds with peppercorn ranch. It was very tasty!! So much food...salad, rolls andbutter, and carrot and celery sticks with dip!! Service was excellent! Everything about it was geared toward the customer - great service, wonderful good, good, muddled old fashions. I had this to... sirloin and vegetable medley. Sirloin is cut like a thick tenderloin, well seared, medium rare sooo good. Personally I thinkSutton is the tastiest of the steaks and low fat content to boot. Read more

Mind-blowing. To people in the area who've grown up with potato peels and Great Lakes Walleye - you are blessed beyond belief!... We were lucky enough to get a late table here last night. The service, food, atmosphere, THE FOOD!, we're all absolutelystellar. Read more
Dinner on a Saturday night was lovely! Old fashioneds were scratch. Prime rib was perfectly prepared with real horseradish.... Walleye was delicious. The pink squirrel ended the meal in the best way. Highly recommend. Read more
Service was great in the bar and restaurant. Super clean. Husband and I both ordered broiled shrimp and scallops, $28 each for 3... shrimp, 3 scallops. The sauce for my dish tasted much different than the sauce on my husbands. Scallops were over cooked forboth of us. Crab Rangoons lacked flavor and filling.
