This place is great for cajun food. Our young boys 7, 9 and 10 love J Gumbo's and will pick it over Politos Pizza and the pizza... ranch. Owner has always been there and is pretty awesome. Very nice and accommodating. This is one of the restaurants wetell our friends and family about, in a good way! Highly recommended. Try the bourbon street chicken or the veggie po boy! I adore the staff, the atmosphere and location. The food is delicious and the the ability to mix and match makes for a lot of... neat combos. The down side is overall, the menu is lacking diversity, but that's to be expected from Cajun food. Read more

I've ordered red bean and rice to go a while back. The person taking care of my small order was very nice and the food was good.... I've also been there for lunch and was very happy with the service and food. It has good ambiance. You can also watch thesports there. Read more
The food is delicious. However the servings are small, very basic with no sides and extremely expensive. It ended up being $50... for two people and we had to stop at KFC on the way home because we were still very hungry. This is the kind of place you wouldgo on a special occasion for a light authentic meal. Great food and atmosphere and the cook himself came out to make sureeverything was delicious which was very nice. The price was just too over the top for this area. Read more
