I went with friends for dinner. It's nice enough. The menu is large and you get a lot of food. I got the house salad; it was... ok. The red onions were potent; they could have used a soak, and the salad could have used a crouton or something else. Thestuffed mushrooms were good but missing something. The chicken in the chicken parm was a little dry, the sauce a little acidic. The beef medallions were delicious, and the gravy overpowered the dish. It was too soupy. The mashed potatoes were nice. Ihad a specialty mojito that was tasty. My friends ordered the filet mignon and salmon salad. They enjoyed their selections,except for the addition of parm cheese on the salmon salad. This was great choice for a Sunday lunch. They had a full dinner menu when most places had only brunch at noon on Sunday. My... wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal with a exquisite waitress. We got the chefs choice appetizer. As well as a chickenparmeasean for her and a seafood dish in a lobster sauce. The volume of food was generous and the flavors were impeccable! Read more
I took my girlfriend for a Mother's Day dinner here. It was going to be our first time experiencing what we have always heard as... a great authentic tasting Italian spot. And to be honest, the whole thing was not a disaster. The service was A+, the appetizer,3 small stuffed mushrooms, was good. However, when we got our entrées it was another story. The noodles are freshly made, butit was obvious that the sauce was canned and over salted. Even the chicken on my Chicken Alfredo tasted canned. We simply didn'twant to finish our meals they had prepared and the manager never made an attempt to speak with us after our server told them thedisappointments we experienced. We dined here twice on our trip here in Wauwatosa. Once by ourselves and once with family. The spaghetti and meatballs is so... good that we ordered it both times. The Fettuccine Alfredo and Rigatoni Arrabbiata are pretty good. Not as good as actualhomemade Italian food, but it's as good as you can get for that price in a restaurant. The chicken in the chopped salad was verydry, but the restaurant did not charge us for it after hearing about the complaint. The service was good overall. Read more
Food was good and the $5 take homes in 1st 2 pictures were generous portion size. Salmon was very good. The black Carmel skinned... "fishing" waitress with crew cut (sorry, i forgot your name) was really great... atmosphere ...ambience relaxing, seatscomfortable and clean.
