I love the environment, and my waitress was constantly checking on me.???? I had the Country Fried Steak and Coffee and loved,... loved, loved it. The best in Milwaukee hands down. I also felt respected and was very comfortable sitting alone. The music wascomforting and felt like I was back at home with my family growing up. Thanks for the Great Service and experience. Pros: My food tasted amazing. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with fries and ranch. The chicken was well seasoned and... actually tasted like chicken. My fries were really good. I also got the salted caramel cheesecake which was fantastic.Everything was decently priced and the service was fine. Cons: My food was warm not hot like it had been sitting a while. Andthere were some very annoying gnats. Update: I went again for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. It was a long wait, butwell worth it. I got banana foster french toast which was so so good. Everyone in our party loved their food and great service.North Ave needs another, bigger location though! So we can all enjoy without waiting an hour in line. Read more
This is arguably the best breakfast spot in Wauwatosa. It has a great classic diner feel with the counter inside and patio... dining outside. I was able to try 2 different breakfast wraps: the wakey wakey eggs and bakey and Felix?s revenge. Both wereamazing in their own unique way. Their bacon ???? is also amazing!
