Good hot food and low prices. Usually a lot of people inside.
For a hospital cafe, I thought everything was o.k.........nothing special perhaps, but nothing poor either. Portions were good... and I found the prices very reasonable. First time orderers seemed to have a little confusion over the process, but counterattendants were friendly and willing to assist. Probably deserves a slightly higher rating all things considered, but I stillfind that a bit misleading.......how about a 3.6! Read more
I schlep my Mom to Froedtert more than bi-weekly as she mends; more often than not we eat at the SkyWalk Deli (rather than the... larger basement cafeteria). The Hot Entrees are almost always very good, the salad bar looks good, the custom-made sandwiches(even hot - burgers, etc.) are good. The fresh popped popcorn is alluring, as is the ice cream as a treat after an otherwisetrying day at healthcare. We observe lots of Froedtert/MCW staff repeatedly eating there - - they can vote with their feetelsewhere, but come back (i.e. indicator of acceptable quality). Friendly and quick food service and cashier staff. WheelChair Accessible, including higher tables with legs meant to roll a wheelchair under.\n\nIt is located on Level 2 (which isthe ground floor when entering from the west campus 92nd St side but one floor up when coming from east 87th St side). Terrible service at register. We got our food from a very nice person, then waited at the counter to pay where both she and the... other woman totally ignored us because they kept making coffee drinks for others behind us. Our food got cold as we had to moveto a different cashier to pay. There\'s no excuse for ignoring someone who clearly wants to pay and they are next in line! Read more
