the service is fast fast fast. The food is good, a little higher priced then most mexican style restaurants, but worth it.... driving-wise entrance into and out of the restaurant is a nightmare, (sharp turn off of 287 or turn here, turn here, turn here,off of 77, behind tractor supply) parking is ample but spaces are tight. Nancy is the best with an awesome personality. Chips and salsa were great. Margaritas hit the spot. Bravo. Four stars bc our... first server was a young woman who didn't give her name and her attitude was horrible and too much scowling. Very unpleasant, sowe were thrilled when Nancy took over and went above and beyond. My bean nachos weren't what I expected, so they rapidly let meorder something else and I was craving the grilled chicken sandwich and it came with perfect crispy bacon and pico and Montereyjack cheese. It was delicious! The french fries were just ok. The other person in my party raved about her tamales andenchiladas and refried beans. The sopapillas we're super hot and absolutely fresh and perfect, especially with honey on top.Definitely my favorite for the area, especially because nearby places like Taco Cabana are lousy. El Fenix deserves their greatreputation. Will definitely return soon for more margaritas and ask for Nancy's section. Read more
There was enough of my lunch portion to save for dinner, but I ate everything. I cannot remember the last time I had Mexican... food this good. Our server was courteous and attentive. From sitting down to receiving our order maybe took 10-15 minutes--andit was my first time there. Read more

Lou was literally THE best waiter! His attitude was great and he created such a wonderful experience for myself and my... coworkers. Very yummy food!! Very friendly staff and good customer service! We?re in town for a weekend trip and decided to stop for dinner... and glad we did! A good place, however very busy 15 mins after opening. But the staff remained professional despite a very rude customer. I was... impressed that they took care of that customer immediately without any fuss. Food was great. I just wish the large guacamolewas actually a larger size for $9.00. I had the crazy nachos & if you're a lover of nachos, you will absolutely love these! The service was great! My friends & I were... seated instantly & attended to throughout our dinner; just enough to be helpful, but not bothersome & the atmosphere was clean &comfortable.
