Popped by this location while I was in town and I was not disappointed! I don't have a fuzzy's where I'm from so it is always a... treat. The front counter staff were very helpful and the manager came out to personally check on our experience. Not to mentionthe prices are unbeatable. Highly recommend for a good, quick bite on a budget. Plus I snapped a cute little pic with one ofthe employees who was so nice to us! Read more
After a great pair of breakfast tacos, I had a very nice conversation with the owner, Ronnie. He is making good progress at... solving the staffing problem at the Waxahachie Fuzzy's. The food is always great. We love the affordability and relaxed ambient of the restaurant. Breakfast Shrimp Tacos are... awesome! The only thing I'd suggest the restaurant owner is to use filtered water in the tea brews. The brews litteraly tasteslike sewer water. It feels like I'm drinking water from the restroom! I made a comment to my mom about it and she actually wasshocked we concurred on that! It's to a point that we have to drink coke off of the drink fountain which we honestly don't evendrink pop, but the taste of that sewer tea is unbearable. Food is always great Herr, they have a fantastic kitchen staff that is fast and friendly. However they seem to leave incompetent... people alone in the front during the worst times, grabbing lunch here was a huge hassle and took far too long. Not the personfault exactly. Maybe it's a staffing issue, but employees that need help shouldn't be left alone with out that help. Hopefullythey will hire more people and this issue will resolve but until then, be prepared to wait to order. Once you order the kitchenteam cooks it up pretty quick. Read more
DO NOT COME HERE until they can get a manager back on staff... the "chefs" seem to be doing the best they can, but it definitely... isn't enough to keep anywhere near the expected standard. How do I get a refund when there isn't even a manager to complain toabout our wrong order and food that tastes spoiled or that is burned until it could do no harm? $20 that I'll just count as acheritable donation I guess. They were super busy and it looked like 3 people were working. I've worked in restaurants and give a lot of leeway in the... situation. Waited 40 min for a taco missing half the filling you would get at any other Fuzzys and everything was cold. The poorworkers are clearly stretched thin and clearly need some support. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a trend here. Wouldjust go to another Fuzzys if it's an option because Fuzzys normally has pretty good food. Read more
The "fried avocado" taco was great. Smoky avocado with a creamy sauce. The "California heat" taco was... Texas mild. Good flavor... but not spicy at all. Great for all. I chose the grilled shrimp. Yummy! Read more
