I'm giving two for the queso rice and that's it... my puffy shells had no puff it reminded me a wet flour tortilla taco... honestly. I was there when it opened to definitely expected hot fresh tacos. The tacos are alittle to fancy for me but they are good. I didn't see where the fried chicken taco had some type of syrup on it... but that was my fault. Not a fan of that taco. The grilled chicken tacos were good also the beef tacos. The guacamole isawesome!!! My daughter said she liked the quesadilla. Nice place good service. I'll try it out again. Read more
My husband and I happened upon this place while visiting town for a birthday party. We wanted to try something different and we... are so glad we did! This is in a good location right off of the main road and in front of a shopping center. Easy to get to andplenty of parking. They have dine-in, drive thru and curbside pick up. You walk in and order first. They give you a number foryour table and the food is brought to you. The girl who was at the register was very nice and a good first impression. Thedrinks are either bottles or fountain. Napkin holders are on each table. Hot sauce is by the fountain drinks. The inside isclean and the decor is cute and quirky. Definitely and happy vibe. It looks like the business is dedicated to a child hungerphilanthropy. I wish the information was more available. Lots of signs saying, "Eat a meal- give a meal." Not only is thisplace great buy the food is great as well! I had the Mahi Mahi and Korean tacos and they were perfection! We had a bus boy comeby regularly to remove trash and was also super nice. Well I've heard all the good news about this place and all the good deeds the company does. So while in Waxahachie Texas we stop... by for dinner. I guess best way to describe it is generic Torchy's Tacos. You didn't get to enjoy your appetite before theybrought you your main course. The presentation was nice but the flavor was so so. Not really sure it was worth the $35. We bothagree the watermelon strawberry drink was good would have been better with Vodka or Tequila your choice. Read more
I had heard a few not so good things about this restaurant but I decided to try it for myself, I must say I was surprised and... very pleased. The fried chicken taco was my favorite. I regretted only getting two, I should have gotten at least four. Thepesto rice was not good to me but the nacho cheese rice was good. They really should add some sort of Spanish rice without thepesto or cheese. The food was fresh and very good. The staff on the other hand needs more training on customer service.
