Sean (one of the new managers) who kindly shared that he happens to have an egg allergy helped to oversee a phenomenal birthday... celebration for my egg allergic child. I found the hostesses rude. They seemed to be speaking/looking down at us. However, the man that sat us was pleasant. The waiter... was also very pleasant. The food was fabulous. My steak was cooked perfectly. I tried the house steak sauce after the waitersuggested it. It was very good! My husband had crab crusted haddock. It was delicious. The sides were tasty as well and cookednicely. They are family size sides, which we didn't realize. We didn't have room for dessert. Was a bit pricey, however I feelthe meal was worth it. I felt it was a bit dark in there. So I didn't give it a five star based on the two hostesses. Would goback, and hope they would be more pleasant next time. Read more
We celebrated our friends birthday at this wonderful historical local restaurant. The food was delectable, with great service... by Julie. The brunch bread was amazing, it set the stage for our tasty meal. Loved the Raw Oysters, wood Fired Bacon, the TomatoAvocado Toast… and the brunch drinks were tremendous. I made reservations for our anniversary at the Coach Grill and was excited to try out this restaurant since we are new to the... area. We got sat right away and greeted by our server in a decent amount of time, everyone was nice and helpful. We had acouple of questions about the menu and items that our server answered and our drinks came out as ordered and tasted good. Iwanted to give them 4-5 stars but when our food came out and I finally cut into my steak it was over cooked. I had asked for itto be medium rare and got well-done. Since I had the lobster tail too it wasn't a huge deal but a little disappointing. Sincenobody came over to check on us and it had gotten really busy in the restaurant I just said nothing and ate it. After dinner wegot a nice surprise, our waiter listened and they also read my reservation saying it was our anniversary so they brought out thepiece of ice cream cake. Since I am not a huge fan of ice cream and chocolate (yes I am crazy) I ordered the butterscotch breadpudding which was amazing, but very sweet. Overall the service was good and food was good, but not knock my socks off good. Iwould suggest you try this restaurant and see what you get definitely worth it. Read more
I dined at The coach grill this morning for Santa brunch like I do every year. Last year I was a bit disappointed by the... disorganization and chaos, but this year our server Julie went above and beyond to make sure me my wife and our daughter weremore than happy, She never showed any signs of frustration or annoyance when we asked questions about the new menu change whichi found very kind. She was extremely interactive with me and my family and that just brought more joy to our entire experience.Despite everything happening within the restaurant with the Santa brunch event and our server having other tables, She wasalways there when we needed her. I wish I could have entered this on open table but it seems I can only review it after makingand attending a reservation so I came here instead given my friend booked this reservation for my family and i just want creditto be served where credit is due and this server truly deserves it!
