The five hour short rib and beet salad were great. The margherita pizza was disappointing: it was basically a cheese flatbread... pizza with some herbs. Service was fast and friendly. Read more

Staff was very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere but the food is unremarkable. I had the French Dip and it was okay. They... didn't give enough au jus for the whole sandwich. My fiances burger was too charred but they otherwise got everythingright. Overall, decent little place but I wouldn't rave about it. Read more

Power in the kitchen went down shortly after we ordered. While many people left because they couldn’t eat, the server was... great at making sure our poke bowls, which didn’t require heat, got to us. We enjoyed them in a quiet restaurant. Good save. Also, have the sangria. Read more

Had dinner last night at The Local in Wayland. The only good thing was the food was well prepared. We waited 15 minutes for a... patio table. There were plenty staff walking around and empty tables outside. It didn't seem to be 'management.' Staff justwalked listlessly around. Sat down on a filthy table with food on the ground from previous customers with kids. Table wasgreasy. It took another 30 minutes to get wait staff who came to introduce herself and a trainee, but didn't bring menu. We knowwhat we wanted and went ahead and ordered. Once finished eating, we waited 30 minutes to get our waitress who reported that thecredit card is not working so we were willing to pay cash. She didn't give us the bill but told us that it was $57 total. Wegave her $80 and asked for change. She came back with $13 and said that we gave her $70. We just wanted to leave at that time.It was a frustrating evening and I left with indigestion from the whole experience. Never going back. They should get some realmanagement!! Read more

Great food, great service, beautiful staff! A true gem. Had the gnocchi which had a great balance of flavors. The truffle cream... was expertly constructed and pulled out the nuttiness of the mushrooms. My husband had the burger which was a masterpiece. Thebeet salad was absolutely delicious and chicken wings had a great spicy kick! Kassandra was an awesome host! Read more

Looks like a brand new shopping development that The Local is located in. Food was great! We decided to get takeout and picnic... in a field close by. Had an overall great experience here and I would definitely swing by again. Lastly, staff was welcomingand kind. Would definitely recommend! Lots of parking, easy to get to. Read more
