Not usually in that area (maybe once a year). Happened to be in the area and was looking for a place to eat and years earlier I... had stopped there. Food was ok, nothing special, but decided to try it again. Very glad I did, the food was excellent. The staffwas very friendly. The multiple terrible towels on the wall made me feel right at home! The only downside is the rocky entranceand parking lot, I happened to be in an expensive "low" to the ground car and not my truck, made me concerned, but if you don'thave very low profile tires, your wheels should be ok. This place was an amazing find when we were camping nearby. The burgers were awesome and the specials were great too. My picky... kids devoured the kids meals. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming that we came back for a second night. Read more
Hidden on a back road, this place is very cozy. There is a bar and a dining room and the food is fantastic. There is also an... outside deck to hang out and have a beer. Great fast service, plenty of parking. You can play pool or hang out by the insidefireplace. Daily food specials. I had the chicken parm, three generous pieces of chicken, lots of pasta. Please go back to making the chicken parmesan dinner the old way: chicken parm served on a bed of pasta with sautéed green... beans in a separate dish on the side. Last time I went the dinner was significantly scaled down and altered: everything on oneplate. It looked like a school lunch for a 10 year old. After complaining, the kind and considerate staff swore that the cookwas the same. This either was not true, or the cook was instructed to economize the dish. Note to management: If you thinkyou're saving money, you're not. I have not been back here for many months. I don't even want to try another dish fearing youprobably have done this to all of your menu. I know the costs of everything has skyrocketed, but you went too far on this one.Just raise your bar prices and leave the food alone. By the way, the staff sympathized with me and gave me a small percentageoff the bill. So what was point of changing the dish? Read more
