STAY AWAY! The worst service I have ever experienced! First we had to wait for one of the bartenders to seat us because they... were too busy talking to pay any attention to their customers. Then we waited 10 minutes or more for a waitress. She broughtour drinks after another 10 minutes and took off before we could order, so we sat there again for quite a while waiting for herto return. She never checked on us after we received our meals because she was too busy talking at the bar. This was all withthe restaurant practically empty. When she finally did return and asked if everything was ok my husband told her that theservice left much to be desired and she got really nasty and abusive rather then apologizing. She kept up non-stop with theverbal abuse even as we were walking out of the door screaming not to come back. Don't worry we will NEVER, EVER be back. Read more
If I was able to give zero star I would. 04.03.2019 @ 7:40 PM - Arrived to see a sign in the foyer directing people to the... bartender for seating. My party of 2 brought the number of customers to 6. Stood at the bar waiting to be seated by the 2female bartenders. Given a menu and waited to place the beverage order. Waited for 10 minutes to get 2 iced teas. The server(later identified as "PM" on my receipt) left despite seeing we were ready to order. Waited some more...ordered the pretzelbites w/ 3 types of dips & 2 full rack of ribs entrees. Heard the kitchen signalling the server by ringing a bell - bell wasrung about 7 separate times over 10 minutes. Server returned w/ the appetizer which only came w/ nasty cheese from a pump. Waited another 20 minutes for the ribs. The server then disappeared to the bar to converse with a couple seated at thebar...obviously friends of hers. I needed a refill on my beverage. Had to leave the table to get it as she never returned toinquire how things were. She brought the beverage and asked how things were. I politely said that the service could be better. She then got hostile and said she was busy "managing things." It was at that point I checked the establishments reviews. Shereturned and I asked if she was the manager. She said yes and we had a brief conversation about the poor reviews. She appearedintoxicated and said why are you here if you saw poor reviews. She then said the reviews are incorrect as they were intransition to an Indian restaurant. I pointed out that is immaterial - customers should receive better service. I was told to"not return, we don't need customers like you and the owner would tell you the same thing". BTW the rest room was disgustingand it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. Bill and I have enjoyed the burgers and fries at Tiff's for many years. It is not the cleanest place to eat. The bathroom even... when we are there at 430 are dirty. We overlook that because the burgers and the bun it's on is very good. This last visit themeat was not the same as we've had in the past. It was a strange color and texture. I usually scoff my down, ate only half. The fries were as we remembered, very good. The bun if it was the same, was old and stale. It is a shame, because we thoughtthat Tiff's had the best burgers and fries in our area. We are now looking for a new burger place. Read more
