Dishonest. I feel like they tricked me. We called to ask about takeout orders and the sizes of their dishes. And the woman told... us the paella and the seafood were typically a single person order. Two items and an appetizer for $80 seemed high but wetrusted her. Then we go to pick up the food and they are effectively catering size plates. Each one fed definitely 2-4 people.DEFINITELY not 1. I have driven past this place for years and never noticed it was there. The Food is fabulous and our waiter Manny was just as... good. I had the shrimp and garlic sauce and I would definitely recommend it. I tasted the soft shell crab special and thePaella Valencia and they were very good. The prices and servings are similar to other Spanish/Portuguese restaurants in theIronbound district in Newark, but it's nice to have a gem so close in Wayne. Read more
The food was delicious. The garlic mushrooms appetizer was excellent. I hadn't had paella in many years and was excited to have... some, their paella Valenciana did not disappoint. It was loaded with seafood, chicken and sausage, the taste was to die for. Iended up taking about 3/4 of it home because of it's large size. My husband totally enjoyed the veal chops and actually to foodhome which he never does. The service was unquestionably the best we have received in forever the waitstaff stand back watchingunobtrusively refilling glasses and removing dishes when necessary. This was over all a great experience the food was superband plentiful, and the waiters were polite, and provided an outstanding service. The tab was a bit high but well worth it. Paella Valenciana is one of the best paella's I've ever had. Full of clams, muscles, baby shrimp, Spanish sausage, baby... scallops, few pieces of bone in chicken, topped with a baby lobster, all of which is on top of probably a pound fried rice.Loved every bite of this dish from start to finish. I had this restaurant on my list for a while and was looking forward to trying it. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I... walked in and was greeted and asked if I could sit at the bar which I did. Manny was my bartender and he was great. I startedwith a red sangria and it was tasty. For my meal I got the garlic shrimp and when it came out it looked so good. I dug in and itwas very tasty. It tasted great with the bread they had as well. The bill was a little shy of $40. Food and service were amazing. The atmosphere was good, but not great. Tables were just a bit to close to each other and the 3/4... hour wait, even with a reservation was not fun. Other than those two things prepare for a fantastic Food experience fromappetizers to dessert. Read more
