The place was incredible. But after drinks the so called specials tasted nothing but reheated leftovers. Might try it again and... stick to the regular menu but maybe not. I ordered medium rare ended up with well done with lobster ravioli that I've had betterat Olive Garden. And the place was so cold my food was cold within minutes. Definitely the worst steakhouse I've been to by far.After the waiter told me they swith suppliers everything made sense cause even the failed attempt of a lava cake was bad. Went last week for Sunday brunch to celebrate my birthday with friends. What an experience?they have a separate brunch menu that... was simply outstanding. Besides the food being a 10, the DJ, dancing and atmosphere was as well. Mark, the manager of therestaurant, makes everyone feel like royalty (super special). He?s just top-notch. The whole vibe makes you feel like you justdined with your family?thanks to the welcoming nature of the Volino Family. I enjoyed it so much that I came back a few dayslater to try the dinner menu?which was equally as outstanding as brunch (including the service). Since the inception of this steakhouse, we finally got the chance to take advantage of this tremendous dining experience. Making... reservations online was simple, and we were immediately greeted by the owner walking through the door. We arrived early to checkout the bar ambiance and get a feel of the place with some pre-dinner cocktails, only to be greeted by friendly and skilledmixologists while listening to a talented saxophonist playing in the corner. We went with the owner's suggestion of the Tomahawksteak for 2 (and suggested red wine), brie drizzled cauliflower, creamed corn, and sweet potato pie (pictured below)...WOW!!! The owner continually stopped by the table to converse and check on the meal and service, which amplified the overallexperience, and one that we can say certainly exceeded any expectations. For what they charge, I would have expected better. The beet salad special was very good as was the wedge salad. Both generous... in size and flavor. The filet was good, not great. It was cooked to the right temperature, if not slightly passed. It was verytender, but seemed to be lacking that great steak flavor. Best experience of my entire life! I went to congratulate my husband for getting his CDL License, AND I went a second time on... May 5th for my birthday. I have no words to describe how pleased I am with everything from reservation to arrival, the greetingswe received (first and second time BOTH), they remembered us! JUST WOW!!!!! I am a huge foodie, I go nearly everywhere to eat,from cheap to pricey. This is the best restaurant experience of my life! First, we didn?t order appetizers because it was lateand we wanted to get to the good stuff (well, everything is the good stuff here) we ordered steak ???? and both were delicious,the meat itself melts in your mouth, none of that elastic stuff we usually eat at other places. The asparagus (my fave veggie)was crunchy and tasty. The lobster Mac and cheese, I ordered it for my daughter but have to admit it was really for myself sinceI know she wouldn?t finish it lol, but hey! She ate my steak ????. The gentleman who was taking our order was professional, kindand had a vast understanding of the menu A+ ????????! At the very end another nice gentleman came by the table and asked us howthe experience was (I believe the owner?). I could not even describe it, I literally couldn?t speak well of how impressed Iwas. The second time we went, as I mentioned earlier they remembered us, we got the same server and he is so sweet, professionaland kind. The same gentleman (I believe the owner but not sure) he noticed my daughter was covering her ears ???? and he cameover to ask if the music was too loud, THEY NOTICE EVERYTHING about their costumers wow????, he came and lowered the volume onspecific section of the room. This is one of the best places to go for date night. The atmosphere and hospitality is as good as it gets! The cook is amazing... to say the least. His steaks are so tender and juicy and taste so good words cannot do it justice. The owners are so nice andmake sure you have an awesome experience! Read more
Doesn?t look like much from the outside.. but they say, never judge a book by its cover. The inside is very modern rustic. ... Very inviting and cozy. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding. Appetizers were: Grilled octopus overpolenta which was spectacular. Double cut Canadian bacon which was delicious. Chicharron and Yuca was awesome. We ordered (2)Porterhouse?s for 2 (4 of us). Both cooked perfectly and flavorful. Steak fries and creamed spinach were good. Dessert wasdelicious also! Lots of Martini?s? This is our second time visiting Volino's Meat Market. To say it was not as good as the first-time visit, is an understatement. ... Our first visit the steak was aged and well-seasoned which is the reason we returned for a second time, the service was amazing,and the restaurant was fully staffed. In this second visit although the waiter was very pleasant, the restaurant wasunderstaffed. He did suggest very delicious appetizers. We had the Octopus which was outstanding and the chicharones were verygood. On this second visit they set up an outside tent with great oldies music which set for a very romantic mood.Unfortunately, for the price they charge for the steak, I expect the steak to be aged and seasoned.
