Food and service were okay. Cocktails are great. Meager beer and wine selection, but decent. Live music was really nice. Would... definitely stop here for cocktails. Read more

We recently visited 118 North for a work event. We enjoyed the live music that night. We were served appetizers including slider... burgers, mahi mahi tacos, and coconut shrimp. All of them were delicious! I also enjoyed the prickly pear margarita to drink. Read more

118 North Great place for a venue. Quaint establishment, with all the decor and comforts , of an enjoyable evening out. Don’t... let outside deceive you. The “joint” is much bigger than it looks! All the foodie favorites when banging out to greatmusic. The Acoustics and venue lighting well done. Servers know the menu, the drinks are stiff, and you can also enjoy taking anice stroll in the neighborhood. Enjoy and shop the abundant amount of stores in walking distance.Bathrooms clean and recentlyremodeled. Go here. You won’t go wrong. Read more

118 N is my go to place for music and food. But it’s the people who work there that make this venue have a family vibe.... Quincy is a server who goes above & beyond. If you dine at 118 she will take care of you. Suggesting cocktails made to yourliking & dinner specials not on the menu. Quincy is personable, attentive and friendly to everyone who walks through the door. From the hostesses, to the servers, the runners, managers, and bartenders, this place is run exceptionally well. We went here 8/21/2021. The service was fantastic. Even though it was onlyCarly's fourth day working here, she was attentive and... very knowledgeable. The drinks were on spot thanks to the skilled bartender. The atmosphere was eclectic with a coffee housefeel in front and speakeasy in back. The women's bathroom was awesome with complimentary toiletries but I was told by my fiancéthat the men's bathroom was just your basic bathroom. There was a wide range of clientele visiting the restaurant that night andvery enjoyable live music playing in the back. We stuck to the appetizers for our first sample of the menu: 1. Crab stuffedpiquillos: They came out the perfect temperature and the crab was not overwhelming. The lemon adds a level of brightness coupledwith crab, cheese, capers, jalapeños and creamy corn; better than piccata ever could. They removed the peppers charred skinlike you would do to a poblano in verde sauce. Although the breadcrumbs got lost in translation, the complete dish combines allthe flavors together, perfectly seasoned, to deliver the unrefined southern flavor packed punch that is completely addictive. 2.Beef carpaccio: Presentation was gorgeous with broth poured on at table side. A simply plated dish with complex flavors. I amtypically not a fan of raw beef but it was delicate, rich, spicy with a tang of vinegar and the crispy shallots offered acontrast to the lusciousness of the dish. I understand what the quail egg did for the dish but if they were to sacrificesophistication for a creamy cheese like burrata, the dish would be in the stratosphere. Although this is served in carpacciostyle, the triumph of this dish lies within the fusion of flavors. Fillet was pounded thin like a cold cut, however, due to thecitrus vinegar addition it was further tenderized as if it was a ribeye. Fillet is generally bland but the fat was replaced withumami, therefore perfectly executed. The addition of Parmesan was unnecessary since the subtle Vietnames Read more
