Life is short, F….it up! Family, Flavor, Friend it was family weekend at Villanova. Do you want to go to a nice place with... Xay to come here. As you can see we ordered up a bunch of different selections to eat and try. The one of them that blew me awayon that flavor was the truffle fries. This is a must get when you come here as they put so much truffle flavor into the fries.This is one of those moments where after the first bite you just pause and sigh. Service was great and all the other food wasreally good. For those who follow me you know it’s all about the burger. this burger also came with truffle fries but it wasstacked evenly and seasoned well. Private Events Review: I cannot speak more highly of the team here at Autograph Brasserie. Christina (Sales + Events Manager)... was a pleasure to work with when booking this location for our Rehearsal Dinner. She was so accommodating and her personalitywas just infectious! She made the inquiry, tour, booking process, and day-of so seamless and effortless. She worked with me inregards to design and layout for the event + always ensured me that I would be taken care of along the way. Which was relievingfor a very stressed bride just prior to her wedding. The evening turned out to be such a success! The food was aboveexpectations + the service was SO attentive. A special THANK YOU to Josh, Edis and Sina who went above and beyond to ensure thatevery guest had a truly memorable evening. The hospitality didn't end there... The Autograph Brasserie team also helped unpackthe decor + florals from the entire evening to ensure I had enough time to go to bed and get some rest prior to my wedding day(happy tears). They also were so kind to hold onto my personal items until I got back from my Mini-moon so that I didn't have toworry about rushing back to pick everything up during my Honeymoon. Autograph is a place one should definitely keep on the radar for those seeking a date night or higher class experience than your... typical chain setting. My significant other and I took a trip here early on a Monday evening for a early dinner, and arrived ona cold, pale sunned day into a warm and classy atmosphere. The foyer is very attractive, with level play and thoughtfullighting. Staff were friendly, and sharply dressed but not so much to feel overly luxurious. We were led to a private booth ina corridor lined with several others. I quite enjoyed this layout, as it offered privacy, but without disconnecting those seatedto the atmosphere of the restaurant. Seats were comfortable, and our server quickly arrived with water and menus in hand. Firstorder was drinks and the dinner rolls. Which both arrived faster than expected. A good note, as the bar here is very fast withdrink arrivals. This may vary based on staff and level of patrons in the restaurant, but I was impressed non the less. Thedinner rolls were hot from the oven, and came with a very fine whipped and salted butter, easily spreadable on the hot rolls.The rolls were very good, a balanced flavor for a dinner roll, not too yeasty, not too doughy, just right. Main courses camenext, with a second round of drinks, and that's when the real show began. Autographs plating is quite remarkable for those usedto your standard restaurant in a strip mall. One eats with eyes first, and they did not disappoint. My partner had ordered theshort rib, and myself the strip steak, with added sauce trio. The short rib was remarkable, tender and not dry, with a lovelyarray of fingerling potatoes roasted just right, and kale. This particular dish I found to be salt to taste for my ownpreference, my partner stated the salt level was ok. All in all, a very good choice, and with looks to boot. From the... amazing photos hanging on the wall and in the restrooms restrooms to the ambiance where we dined, To the background music thatwould take you back and make you sing at the table. Meal was absolutely spectacular! Melissa was a pleasure and was extremely friendly. We also had the privilege of meeting Lee,... who was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and menu. The decor is very interesting. A multitude of celebrity autographs hang on the walls; main dining area has private booths; bar... area walls have old album covers and vintage Victrola's. Bar booths are large and comfortable with pretty accent pillows.Service was impeccable for our party of 5. However, we were not impressed with the food. Coffee was not hot. We had to ask forit to be freshly made. Eggs Benedict and Salmon Benedict were not impressive. They served a somewhat small portion of homefries. (They are essentially cubed, roasted potatoes). Spinach on the Eggs Benedict was an unwelcome surprise. Hollandaise saucetasted more like a cheddar sauce. The Autograph Omelet was not enjoyable. It was rubbery, light on the bacon and too heavy onthe onion. Breakfast potatoes were much too spicy for my taste even though I picked out the peppers and onions. No where on themenu does it describe the home fries as spicy or cooked with pepper and onion. Had I known I would have chosen somethingelse. Avocado toast was a small portion for $16 and no presentation. It was just sourdough spread with a thin layer of avocadoand piled with tomatoes. Vanilla Bean Cheesecake was good but the Autograph Signature Sundae's were just fair. It was missingthe brownie and the berries just didn't work well with all the other ingredients.
