I wasn?t planning on writing a review, but besides for their extraordinary bagels, on multiple occasions this shop has shown... such kindness to their customers. The other day they offered me a free drink for waiting an extra 5min which was completelyunnecessary, it was only 5 mins! Today, I saw a customer that messed up his order (and was confused why he didn?t get what hedidn?t actually ask for). One of the employees came out and was completely willing to make him a new sandwich without chargedespite the customer acknowledging that he ordered the wrong item. I'm a Jersey girl and had access to some of the East Coast's best bagels growing up - from both Jersey and NYC bakeries - and I... am so impressed with Spread! They do the Montreal style thing which isn't what I'm used to but their bagels are so, so tasty.I'm a purist so got a half dozen with plain cream cheese to try 'em on for size. Decent density, super flavorful, decent chew,great crunch on the outside. They're definitely a little "breadier" if you're used to the NYC style but this is a welcomevariation. Excellent bagels, fresh and exciting sandwich ideas and really delicious La Colombe coffees. Once, my mom asked for her milk to... be warmed for her coffee and they did it for free w no extra cost or hesitation. Really nice people. Read more
Live from Brooklyn, I'm raving to the internet about a bagel I had on... the Main Line. I'm from a Jewish family that has... bestowed upon me 130+ years of genetic New York bagel-eating memories, and I've had just about every hype bagel NYC has tooffer. I'd take Spread's over any of them. Their egg bagel specifically, floury-bottomed with a generous flaking of fleur de selto top it off, is without a doubt the absolute best I've ever had. It's indulgently thick, yet somehow refreshingly light evenwhen holding a BEC, which here comes with thick-cut bacon and a fluffy origami-fold of an omelette. This is a new place that we just tried. It's nice to grab a bagel and good coffee then hop on the train. There is parking in the... front. They are located in downtown Wayne. We got a toasted Chocolate Chip bagel with veggie cream cheese and an Americano. Whenwe came, there were To Go orders waiting for other customers. There is also seating. Read more
These bagels are amazing! I love everything bagels and absolutely hate when there isn't enough everything seasoning on them, but... you don't need to worry about that happening here! These everything bagels are completely coated in seasoning!! Thank you SpreadBagelry for this!! They don't skimp on the bagel sandwich size either and their cream cheese spreads come in a variety offlavors.This place is well worth a trip to get bagel sandwiches and a dozen to take home! The service and food quality is always on point at Spread! The crispy yet soft Montreal style wood fired bagels are unlike any... other (unless you're in Montreal!) and the variety of flavors and cream cheese spreads is awesome! You've got to try it!
