The place can surprise you, it's a little hard to find, but definitely take the time to look for it it's worth the effort. The... food is great and the portions are huge. I ordered the shrimp sampler with sides of fries and onion rings, two people could haveate off the platter and had enough. So take the time to try this little hole in the wall restaurant. Read more

Good seafood and friendly folks. DW had grilled shrimp & fish, I had crabcake & fried oysters. Sides were slaw, baked beans,... onions rings and baked potato. We both received hush puppies. Food was hot and delicious, took less than 15 minutes. Since itwas our 1st time we had to learn the routine: order at counter, come get your food when called, self serve drinks and clean yourtable off when done and leaving. doesn't get much better than this! Enjoy catfish filet, fried shrimp and fresh fries made fresh. Also have frozen fries for... some reason... so caution. Others enjoy blackened and grilled fish and fried oysters. None were disappointed. Dinner sizeplate (written on board over counter) is big enough to share. First time trying it out tonight. The ladies were very sweet & pleasant. I ordered a little of everything. I got 1/2 lb of fried... shrimp w/ bang bang sauce, fried asparagus with spicy sauce (that's the sauce that should be on the bang bang shrimp) ribeye,medium rare,mahi mahi with coleslaw & okra. Overall good. I had gotten the order to go to have dinner at my husband'sBarbershop. I should have double checked on the steak sauce & coleslaw. We were traveling from Orlando, Fl to Aiken, SC looking for a place eat. So we look on Google maps and found Brown's. Always... looking for an adventure we gave them a try. We were very impressed with the restraunt and cleanliness. We ordered the seafoodplatter. It was delicious. The catfish was the best. Really enjoyed the gator tail. Been a while since I've been to this restaurant. They have a different menu, which I loved. Gumbo, steak, chicken tenders and... hamburgers are included on the menu along with fish and seafood. Desserts and sides are also available. All you can drink selfserve soda, tea and lemonade also. Read more
