We had The Queen's Tea. Tea was hot and the sandwiches and sweets were yummy.

Worst tea room experience ever. They serve these tiny little chocolate chip scones. They had no other types they said. They had... no clotted cream (not that I would put it on a chocolate chip scone I suppose anyway). I had to ask for milk three times and thesandwiches were minuscule. I think they gave us 10 sandwiches( for three grown women )and the sandwiches were about the size ofa silver dollar. $89 bill. In case owner replies to this review: I did askif there were any other types of scones available andthey said no. I asked what type of sandwiches they were three or four times not that it mattered because they were so tiny. Theymixed the vegetarian sandwiches ( one of us pre ordered vegetarian) and the regular sandwiches together on a plate and that?swhy I had to keep asking which sandwiches were which( the answer kept changing) . Just the worst experience. I wouldn?t havewritten a review at all if the bill was $30 but it was $90. Ripped off! Thanks for nothing ???? Follow up :The server spilt thelemon and almond cream.Noone spilt milk . She then spent several minutes trying to clean it up while we watched and waited. Iasked for milk three times. I again asked while she tried to remove the cream and lemon from your carpet. Furthermore my 78 yearold mother called and asked for a substitute for the bread. The person on the phone couldn?t conceive the concept of noteating bread . Your teeny tiny scones , if thats what you call them were terrible and not everyone eats chocolate , unbeknownstto you I suppose. We will NEVER return. Read more

Of the many Tea Rooms that the women in our family have gone to, over the years, this one was the best, by far. The perfect Tea... Room experience. We had reservations for four and they were ready for us. They gave each table a time limit of an hour and ahalf in order to accommodate the ones with reservations after us. That was plenty of time to relax and enjoy without rushing.Thefood, and the staff, and the set-up, everything was Top-Notch. The food is unique and delicious...seems homemade. The selectionof Teas is fantastic. The place has two rooms for use and both were full. We loved that they had had a selection of hats forthose who wanted to wear one. They also have a nice selection of cute things to satisfy the shopping gene....including thedifferent Teas. I will say that the web site does not do the place justice at all. Read more

TranquilaTEA is a wonderful place for a mother and daughter date. The tea is fantastic - there are so many varieties it is hard... to decide. Nancy and Laura are the sweetest people, very hospitable. Truly an experience, highly recommend. We already bookedour second visit ;) Read more

I?m kicking myself for it making time to actually dine in the store, I will definitely be back for that experience. I did... however buy some things from their shop. The attendants were so friendly and helpful. I bought the almond cookie green tea, thelavender lemon herbal tea, and the pineapple upside down cake tea. Wow!!! The latter is absolutely delicious. I also had thealmond cookie, just as equally yummy, and my cousin had the lavender lemon and told me it was wonderful. They make excellentgifts and they also have an array of tea pots and tea cups with saucers to accompany the loose leaf tea. Do not pass anopportunity to visit this adorable and special place. This was a totally unexpected surprise in the heart of Waynesboro! We have traveled to several tea houses around Asia, but... nothing ever as delightful as this. This is a British style tea party including scones and dinner sandwiches. Bring yourdaughter and she will instantly up her tea party game! We will return again and again! Read more
