The room was nice but the whole place is under construction so it was unsightly. Will probably be a lot nicer when finished.... Also, the lights outside our room stayed in constantly making it impossible to get the room totally dark. Read more

No golf for another year during renovations. They are short staffed so no housekeeping. We are here 4 nights so we call the... office for odds and ends. We ate in the restaurant and had Ribeye medium rare because they're thin but baked potato and saladwere fresh and good. Servers are very cordial and friendly. Read more

First off, the Inn itself is very cool, it is almost 100yrs old. The stonework is beautiful. The gentleman at the front desk was... very accommodating and cordial. The 2 rooms I saw however left most everything to be desired. There are apparently have newerrooms elsewhere on the property but I cannot speak to these. I can only advise not booking a room in the main building untilafter they undergo their upcoming renovation. It will likely be a very unique place to stay once they are completed. Read more

This is a quaint hotel and country club located in the beautiful surroundings of Waynesville. The establishment has recently... been purchased by Wyndam Hotels. They are in the process of completely renovating and making this place even moreappealing. During our stay, Cory was amazing. He was such a helpful and friendly front desk attendant. The staff was welcomingand the room was adequate and very clean. Though we didn't play golf, the course looked well maintained and beautiful. I wouldstay here again! Read more

Please do not waste you time and money. This place is not what you see on website or internet at this time. We check in and... found our room to be in very poor condition. There was ceiling tiles that has extensive water damage and more that had mold. Thechairs were so dirty you could not see the pattern anymore. I was uncomfortable to touch them. The bed pillows have no typicalcovers on them between pillow and case and there were stains on the pillows. The room smelled damp. The toilet seat was peeling.I happened to look out the window while we were scrambling to find another place to stay and saw the pool. The cover was half onhalf off and in need of maintenance. We left the room 10 minutes in and went back to the check in desk and asked for our moneyback. The front desk person was polite and stated they would refund us. I asked him if he or anyone has been in the room we weregiven and he said no. It it obvious that no one is inspecting rooms for quality and safety assurance. There maybe rooms that arebetter than what we got, but I would beware. I had to give 1star to post. Read more

A charming place and a surprising find. Travelled with a dog and they have a limited number of rooms that allow dogs.... Unfortunately the pet allowed rooms were truly no frills and a little uncomfortable. The other rooms look pretty nice. The pricewas great and included a nice breakfast (made to order omelettes, etc...). The golf course looked nice, the property is veryscenic, although the surrounding area is depressed.
