Nice restaurant with a great layout right on the waterfront. Supper convenient if you are coming by boat as it is right next to... the wayzata public docs. The food itself was good and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The place can get a little busy butit’s never more then a short wait to get a table. I recommend trying the patio on a nice summer evening. Two call outs toconsider: While the food is good, I personally felt the prices were a bit high for what you got. I tried the burger on our mostrecent visit and it wasn’t anything special. The environment while nice is rather loud. So if you like that loud kind of“energy” then it’s great. But conversations with everyone at the table start getting a little hard once you have more then4 people. Read more
Cute location, right on the water, parking offered around the back or curbside. Great options to choose from. My only complaint... was that the portion of the compliments for my salmon dish was a bit smaller than anticipated. My friend got the French dip andthat was a fairly large portion so it’s all dependent on what you choose. Also go for the brownie for desert, big size andsuper sweet! Read more
Amazing views from their patio seating area make this a memorable dining experience. Their service and good food make it worth... it!! We loved their Buffalo Cauliflower; tasty and spicy. I wouldn’t recommend the Loaded Baled Potato, which was prettybland for our tastebuds. I also enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi; very well done, and yum!! Service is fantastic and we also gotlucky to catch a train passing by the lake during our dinner. Read more
Wow this place was a bomb and I was totally stunned. The foooood was delicioussssss and I was totally into it. The ambience was... so well designed and it’s right across the lake with amazing view. They have the right amount of food on each plate and I wasready to ignore any kind of cash tag dish has. The cocktail drinks are good too. The lady who waited our table was soprofessional and she helped us to pick the right dishes. I will definitely be back multiple times to this restaurant. Read more
Absolutely stunning scenery. Beyond delicious food. Drinks to die for. I absolutely would be back and can not wait to eat this... delicious food again. Delicious fresh oysters and the Au Jus is the best rib eye sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Melted inmy mouth and made me crave more. Cleaned my plate! Read more
I will go out of my way to come back. Being that the restaurant is by a lake you would expect a view but not many restaurants... nail the internal atmosphere like COV Wayzata has. You can tell they put in time every season to keep it fresh. The hostess wasincredibly kind and accommodating. Our waitress was amazing. The food is unreal good. The views are amazing. We were fortunateenough to be there while a person played the piano. This will be worth every moment and dollar. Read more
Very good, but not great. We came here for lunch and sat on their patio. Their patio is dog friendly which is a huge plus for us... as we often travel with our dogs. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. The location right on the water is beautiful.Our main criticism is that we expected much better food for the price, as this place is very expensive. Neither of our mealswere bad by any means, but they were definitely nothing special to make it worth the price. Read more
I always come here for the view and the fried calamari! Great place to chill and have a brunch with a view. We also got the... fried chicken sandwich which was delicious. As for the lobster roll not so much it was instagramable tho ???? Read more
