What a gem! I feel it's 5 star all the way around. Elegant and comfortable. Courteous staff and superb location. Handy parking.... On my next visit I'm anxious to try the restaurant. Read more

I attended a wellness retreat here, spending 2 days/1 night on the property. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the... meeting spaces we were large with plenty of room. We had quite a number of people checking in at the same time and the frontdesk worked very quickly to get us all checked in. The room itself was comfortable and clean (as you would expect). My wife and I used Perrie and her team at the Hotel Landing to get married at this location. We rented the lawn outside which... was perfect for the ceremony, and the event space was perfect for the reception. Our families stayed two nights in the hotel, and there wasn't a single dis-satisfied person in the lot of them. The hotel staff does a great job of keeping this quaint, quiet, and beautiful hotel in perfect order and the banquet staff (led by Victor) did a great job of serving us and our guests. The food... well, it was amazing. We had people tell us how great their meals were (and let me put in a quick plug for themashed potatoes which were a crowd favorite). Special thanks to the hotel staff that had to deal with our last-minute weatherissues... we were almost forced to move inside, but at the last moment when back outside. While it was a big ask, they did agreat job of getting things setup quickly, and the courtesy van driver did such an amazing job getting us to our picturelocations, waiting for us, and even working past his shift to get us back, we had to come back the next day to tip him for justexceptional above-and-beyond service. For people looking to host an event, this is a great place to do it! Read more

We held our wedding of ~70 people at The Hotel Landing, which included the following activities at The Hotel Landing: *Friday... night - rehearsal, cocktail hour, and a welcome diner for everyone staying at the hotel *Saturday - private breakfast buffet forour guests, wedding ceremony in the Grand Ballroom, Cocktail hour, Dinner, & Dance *Sunday - Private breakfast farewell buffetfor our guests staying at the Hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect! They got every detail right. Perrie Meltzer, theCatering Salves Manger, was excellent to work with - she really made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it to be!The wait staff were so polite and kind. Everyone at The Hotel Landing contributed to an excellent wedding weekend for us. Wehighly recommend The Hotel Landing!!!! Read more

Not worth it. 1. When we arrived there was no staff to check us in- when someone finally appeared from the back she looked at us... as if we ruined her day. 2. We parked Valet (over priced for service) when we got back no one was at the post after waiting for5 min I went to the front desk to ask what we should do? Her responses ?umm he usually out there I would just leave your keys onhis counter? What??? 3. Shower pressure was super low- the shower head fell off the wall. Iron was purchased from the dollarstore. In room fridge was not cold at all. Overall not a good experience for the price. Unfortunately they are the only hotel onthe strip so they will continue to monopolize the space while they can. Read more

We held the Welcome Party for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding in the Wayzata room at the Hotel Landing. Perrie and her... staff were magnificent to work with! The bartenders and wait staff were so pleasant and accommodating! They filled our requestsfor the extra food with ease and a genuine desire to make our event so great! The bartenders kept the bar open for us as weslowly trickled out. The venue was beautiful and everyone had a great time! No one wanted to leave! We will keep Hotel Landingon our short list for any upcoming events that we have to celebrate! Read more

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception at The Landing 2 months ago. I wasn?t going to write a review, but after... this long it is still bothering me, so I feel I must follow my heart. The facility was beautiful for a wedding. The caterersand the wedding planning staff were great during the planning process. The food was delicious! However, this is where thepositives end. We did not find out until after the hosted bar ended that the remainder of the evening was a cash bar. I alwaysthought ?cash bar? meant that the wedding guests were just required to pay for their drinks?not that they literally needed?CASH? only to buy the extremely over-priced drinks. This was very frustrating to many guests, and they ended up leaving earlybecause of it. Then around 8 PM the music and dancing started. It was shortly after an hour after that the Wayzata police showedup as there were noise complaints from residents across the street. In my opinion, The Landing should not be able to rent outtheir facility for anything with a music venue as we were told ?this happens all the time?. We didn?t appreciate it happeningto our daughter and son-in-law, and on our dime. It is extremely disconcerting to have police officers walking around yourwedding reception?this happened twice in the evening. It is now midnight, and we were told that everyone needed to leave thereception area as it was being locked up. The hotel bar was already closed so the wedding party had nowhere else to go, so theydecided to move to the Presidential Suite where the bride and groom were staying. They had just gotten there when they receiveda nasty call from the front desk that they were being too loud- as defined by a disgruntled non-wedding guest from across thehall. My room was just down the hall, and the only thing I heard was some appropriate wedding laughter in the hallway as theymade their way to the Suite. This lasted about 3 minutes. Subsequently, they were not being loud, and Read more

Hotel room was neat, nice, and well designed. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the hotel staff. Stuffy, pretentious, and... treat guests like they?re ?lucky to be there.? $8 waters, condescending staff, and expensive. $400 per night for July ratebecause they are the only hotel in wayzata proper. Unfortunate, because the hotel has so much promise. Read more
