So, I know this place use to always be on top of things, great service and great food. I work for a hotel nearby as a front desk... associate and I get asked for whats good to eat around here nearly every day or night, several times. I recommend Oaxaca tonightto a work crew who wanted good authentic Mexican food. Let's just say, the crews boss came in basically yelling at me for therecommendation. I feel so bad, each one out of 17 men said the food and the service was horrible. I just CANNOT believe HOWdisappointed my customers were with the establishment tonight. Wow!!! Where do I even start? This place is fantastic! Let me start out by saying we went at dinner time and as soon as the door... opened we were greeted immediately. The staff was all amazing and very friendly. Our waitress was the best and helped us allpick amazing dishes. I had the brisket fluffy tacos and let me tell you there was so much flavor and fresh ingredients. Thesalsa and chips are so good we almost got full before our food came out. Great place to get some tasty Mexican food. Their menu is bigger than their venue. Great food and drinks with good-sized... portions. Excellent and friendly service. It was my first time to this restaurant for a realtor networking luncheon, and we werewell taken care of. We had a group of about 30 and the service was still excellent.  We very much enjoy this place all aroundand will continue to come back.  This Mexican cuisine is right off the 20 fwy. frontage road within a short distance of theWalmart Supercenter, Home Depot, Discount Tire, and Academy Sports + Outdoors. If you're looking for something a bit moreupscale, this is the place. The guacamole is AMAZING! Had it takeout, and the size was questionable for $15.00, but the taste made up for it…almost. The... soup on the other hand was terrible. 1 star out of 5 for sure! $12.00 for broth and a few cubes of unseasoned chicken with aside of cheese, 2 slices of avocado, and some tortilla strips. My boyfriend and I went here once before and the food was outstanding! The second time we went there we ordered our food and it... came out very quick and my boyfriend looked like literal slop my meat was dry and had no flavor and the server was gone and tookforever to come back to a table for chips or drinks or anything honestly. When we asked to try something else the manager cameover and talk to us and apologized but did absolutely nothing for us so we still wind up paying full price and the food stillwasn’t that great. Pretty average Mexican food. The service was good. The chips and salsa are bad. It was a party of three and the bill was 64.00.... My granddaughter was with us as one of the three, so you can see it's pretty pricy. I had the steak quesadilla, and my wife hadthe puff taco. My granddaughter had a cheese quesadilla. The food wasn't terrible, but for 64 dollars it should be better thanthat, plus they messed up my order. Read more
